Gordon Ramsay shows off his ripped physique in a tight T Shirt as he drives his Ferrari to 'look around a $15million Malibu mansion'

Celebrities have long been attracted by Malibu beach houses, with James Cordon recently moving into a $24million mansion there.

And it appears Gordon Ramsay is jumping on the bandwagon as he reportedly looked around a $15million (£12million) beachfront pad.

The celebrity chef and restaurant owner, 49, was spotted arriving at a property in his convertible Ferrari - with onlookers saying he was scoping it out as a prospective buyer.

Gordon, worth an estimated £95million, kept casual for the outing, donning a tight T-shirt that hugged his bulging biceps and completed his look with some chinos and Nike trainers.

Sporting his hair in his trademark quiff, Gordon accessorised with some funky blue shades, keeping the early autumn sun at bay.

Gordon's reps declined to comment.

The claims come after the Hell's Kitchen star, who bought a $4million Los Angeles mansion in 2012, got the go ahead to demolish his £4.4million five-bedroom cottage in the Cornish village of Rock and replace it with a larger property.

But he has run into fierce opposition from villagers – including the tycoon living next door, who happens to be one of his company's biggest suppliers.

Andrew Nisbet, boss of kitchen equipment firm Nisbets, has accused him of being 'unneighbourly' after Ramsay applied to Cornwall County Council for permission to build a holiday hideaway.

The new place would feature two kitchens, a wine cellar, swimming pool and guest annexe, in the exclusive fishing village – dubbed Kensington-on-Sea because of the number of wealthy city-dwellers who own homes there.

But 55-year-old Mr Nisbet, who is worth £430 million, and his wife Anne have taken particular exception to the planned annexe, named The Garden House, claiming that it will compromise their privacy.

They also say the new building will prevent them from enjoying their garden because of its proximity to their £1.8 million property, which is called Trethwaite.

In an objection to the council, the couple say it is 'unacceptable' that the 'window to window' distance between The Garden House and their residence is just 25 yards.

The Nisbets are among 16 Rock residents who have called for the application to be refused.

The council said that no date had been set for a decision on the planning application.

Mr Nisbet declined to comment at the time. A spokesman for the Ramsays also declined to comment.
