Mother-of-six is slammed online and has her Facebook page DISABLED after she posted photos of herself breastfeeding her own child AND a stranger's baby at the same time

  • Rebecca Wanosik, a mother-of-six from Missouri, was asked by a friend if she could feed a stranger's baby while the girl's mother was in surgery
  • She obliged, snapped a pair of images of her own baby and the girl breastfeeding, and shared the story on Facebook
  • Shortly after putting up the post, Rebecca's account was disabled

A mom of six has had her Facebook account disabled after posted a photo of her tandem breastfeeding her child and the child of a stranger.

Missouri mom Rebecca Wanosik recently grabbed some unwanted attention when she shared a story on Facebook about helping out a friend.

In the post, Rebecca wrote that she 'received a random text from one of my friends asking if I could feed a stranger’s baby.'

She continued: 'Was there ever a question? The baby’s mother was having surgery and the baby is exclusively breastfed and refused a bottle.'

When Rebecca subsequently met the little girl, she remarked that the baby looked 'hungry and exhausted'.

'I did what I hope any person would do for my child in a time of despair,' she said. 'I fed a strangers baby.'

Along with the story, Rebecca shared a pair of images of the little girl and her own baby tandem feeding, and holding hands while doing so.

But while many chimed in to praise her for her gesture, others Facebook users raged over her revealing post.

One wrote: 'Cover up!!!! Nobody wants to see your breast. This is Facebook not sexbook.'

Another implied that the women involved had been careless, saign: 'Erm, that can be very dangerous. Who knows if the other person has Hep B or HIV.'

Eventually, Rebecca responded to her critics, saying she was 'surprised by just how many people thought it was weird, or unnatural' because 'they are boobs, they are meant to feed babies.'

It seemed that Facebook agreed with the critics as, according to a post by Rebecca's husband Anthony, the social media site disabled her account.

'My wife did a great thing and Facebook disabled her account,' he wrote, including an image of her original post. 'Please share this so we can spread the word and show how much facebook really doesn't care about the good people are trying to do.

'Instead they want to spread the evil and hate around the world. I am very proud of this woman and everything she stands for. I am proud to call her my wife!'

The post isn't the first time the family found themselves in the news. Last year, they lost custody of their five kids after doctors found that their daughter Zeydn, suffered a broken arm and three fractured ribs. This was later said to be the result of a complex medical condition
