A drunk thug who blasted bullets at a bus after the driver trapped his friend's foot in the doors has been arrested by police. 

In a shocking scene captured on CCTV he waved his weapon around in anger before firing it at the vehicle.

Surveillance cameras inside the bus captured his rage in the northern part of Moscow, Russia.

At the beginning of the video a man is seen holding his left leg in the bus while he waits and speaks to his friends.

Passengers climb on board, and the automatic doors close.

But the man's leg was still inside and he is trapped by the closing flaps.

He then has to hop along as the driver pulls off while he is still caught in the doors.

Desperately the man bangs on the doors and the driver stops.

Upon his release he becomes infuriated, but not nearly as much as his friend close by.

The gunman storms into view and points his weapon at the vehicle.

Firing off a bullet he smashes the window before the bus driver can leave.

Police later arrested the two involved. According to reports the shooter said: 'I did not mean to hurt anybody. I don't know why I fired at the bus. I was drunk.'

He came to the capital four months ago looking for a job, before being hired at a construction site as a general worker.
