Taken just minutes apart, the photos show a conflicted Miss Wright smiling and posing up for the camera for another shows her staring eerily into the distance. The court was shown a chilling reenactment photo of Wright's legs hanging over the side of Tostee's balcony seconds before she plunged to her death on Monday(left). Tostee appeared in Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday (right) where audio recorded on the night of Wright's death was heard.

An alleged thief who was tackled by Bunnings security guards 12 hours before he died in hospital told them he could not breathe, shocking footage has revealed. Anthony Georgiou, 31, was leaving a Bunnings Warehouse in Frankston, south of Melbourne, on September 12 when he was pinned down by two guards. Distressing mobile phone footage obtained by A Current Affair shows blood coming out of the father-of-one's mouth as he pleads with security to let him go. Pinned down on his front with his arms twisted behind his back, Mr Georgiou says: 'Somebody help me, please! Get them off me! Help me!' Police arrived and called an ambulance, with paramedics taking Mr Georgiou to hospital in a critical condition. He died 12 hours later and leaves behind a four-year-old daughter.

Her parents initially dismissed her discomfort, but when she began crying continuously they took her to hospital. Doctors were shocked to find a blow fly - attracted to bad smells - inside her ear which had laid around 80 larva (inset). Radhika had two sittings (right) to remove the insects. Both operations, which lasted for 90 minutes each, involved killing the maggots while they were in her ear.

The accident happened outside a college in Baraut, a small city just over 40 miles north of Delhi, India. In a horrific accident the girl, believed to be around 16-years-old, was trying to take a selfie beside a ferris wheel. But she got dangerously close to the ride in order to get the perfect shot.
Gemma Patten, 30, (left) had a smear test three years ago which came back clear. But she went to her GP after experiencing bleeding between her periods. She was referred for further tests at Barnet Hospital after abnormal cells were found. Doctors found a 1cm tumour and gave her the option of a hysterectomy or a procedure to remove part of her cervix, called a trachelectomy. The mother of Savannah, four, and Arizona, 18 months, (pictured inset with partner Joshua Archibong) had the procedure to remove the cancer but leave her womb. But she also needed chemotherapy (pictured right, during treatment using a cold cap) after cancer nodules were found on her lungs. 'Even though this has been the worst time in my life, I'm glad it has happened as it has made me appreciate life and has given me the knowledge and the facilities to be able to help others from suffering too,' she said.

Heidi Luckraft (left), 39, from Beeston, Nottinghamshire, was walking her dog four years ago when she was bitten by a tick. However, it wasn't until last year that she was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. She is now on 29 different medications a day in hospital (inset) as the illness attacks her organs. Because of how long it took her to receive a correct diagnosis, it has left her with no treatment options in the UK and reliant on a wheelchair (right). Her family and friends are frantically trying to raise money for treatment in the US to try and save her life.

Among his arty pictures is an old sailing ship in St Petersburg's harbour and famous buildings such as the Hermitage and Winter Palace, Palace Square and Alexander Column, all set against dramatic skylines. The man behind the lens said: 'I love photography and my camera is always with me. I am inspired by the city view and landscapes. My friends and family all enjoy the pictures I take. When I take the pictures I try to process what I am seeing so I can make the scene more mysterious.'

Goose, an eight-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, had a puzzled look on his face after being sheared last week having grown his coat for more than two months. His owner, hospitality manager Grant Brown, from Glasgow, Scotland, with his wife Laura, 25, said the pattern formed almost perfectly as he tidied up Goose's coat. Mr Brown, 31, said: 'We give him a haircut every couple of months because he gets a bit messy as it is started falling off him I realised it looked pretty cool. We had been waiting a wee while longer because we were waiting on a new set of clippers to come in the post so it was quite straggly. His hair does grow quite long but he enjoys getting it cut too. My wife likes it shorter so when the new gear came I sat him down and got it done.'
