'I am grateful': Kris Jenner finally breaks silence after daughter Kim Kardashian is tied up and gagged during $11m Paris robbery

Kris Jenner has finally broken her silence following Kim Kardashian's robbery.

The 60-year-old momager - whose daughter was pulled from her bed in the early hours of the morning last week, bound and gagged, and robbed in a $11 million heist - took to social media on Monday and posted a sombre quote.

'Every morning is a reminder of how blessed we are,' she said. 'Today I am grateful for my family, who I love more than words can explain. Count your blessings, be grateful always, and cherish every moment you spend with your loved ones.'

Kris shared the cryptic message which hints at the ordeal that Kim - who turns 36 next week - was subject to after she was robbed at gunpoint by five armed men.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star then captioned the photo: '#blessed #family #love #grateful (sic).'

The mother of six has only posted two other times since the terrorizing event on October 2.

Once to promote daughter Kylie Jenner's new lip kit and another to send her thoughts to Haiti in the wake of Hurricane Matthew, but this marks the first post she made regarding Kim.

Kris' heartfelt words come just days after Kourtney Kardashian - who along with Kendall Jenner was in Paris at the time of the robbery - also broke her silence on the matter by tweeting a picture of a quote from her daily devotional book.

Meanwhile as Kim recovers, the E! Network has shut down production of her family reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and postponed a makeup class in Dubai on October 14.

A spokesperson for the network told Variety that: 'Kim's well-being is our core focus right now'. They added that: 'no decision has been made as to when production will resume.'

Pascal Duvier, the mammoth security ace who accompanied Kourtney and Kendall to a party at the time of the incident, manned the platform Kanye performed on during his Chicago concert.

In the wake of the violent crime the spotlight has turned to the security professional and his employment remains squarely in the hands of the Yeezus rapper, a family insider told People

'Kanye is evaluating his family’s needs,' the source said. 'He is ultimately the one who decides what happens with Pascal.'

'Pascal still works for them, [but] he isn’t irreplaceable though. The family really likes him, but he is not a family member.'

Take your trench game to the next level with a jacket like Kim's

After arriving in Paris decked out in sweatpants from the latest Yeezy collection, Kim switched her look to something a little less casual for a trip to the Balmain head office.

Opting for a head-to-toe organza look, Kim's outfit was centered around her show-stopping Sacai transparent belted jacket (click right to buy it now), complete with lace lapels and a fur collar. Just add a matching skirt and lace-up heels for a look that's 'Kardashian at Paris Fashion Week' worthy.
