The 72-year-old Brit poured his heart and soul into his performance as Sir Elton John singing Rocket Man for Spike's Lip Sync Battle, which returns for season three on Wednesday.

A clip of the show that E News posted on Monday showed the veteran star in a metallic silver, sleeveless jumpsuit with a towering stand-up collar in silver, blue and red stripes that had models of the planets sticking out of the top.

He teamed it with a silver metal skull cap and rocked silver platform boots.

Like Sir Elton, he wore round glasses with silver frames to complete his way-out, glitzy ensemble as he sat at a white grand piano, pretending to bash out the 1972 hit.
