Her jet black locks were loose around her shoulders and she looked camera ready with a full face of make-up.
Megan's turtle pals were dressed up in their CGI suits complete with full-size shells on their backs while they worked through a fight scene together.

Before the release of the first film there was backlash from fans of the animated series about Megan's casting in the reboot, with some suggesting the actress' over-sexualised past roles could jar with the family friendly image of April.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly last year, Megan insisted that her updated April, while noticeably different from the cartoon and movie iterations that came before, wouldn't move too far away from the character's essence.
'She's more of a leader when she explores her relationship with the turtles instead of just the human companion that gets dragged along on the adventure,' explained the actress.

'It's more representative of a modern woman...There's no gratuitous skin or sexual anything. Jonathan (Liebesman, director) was really insistent on not wanting her to be sexualized or to take that sort of typical role we've seen women take in movies thus far, and that I've taken in particular.'
