Former Playboy model Brandi Brandt has been extradited from Los Angeles to Sydney to face charges for her alleged role in a cocaine-trafficking syndicate.
The 45-year-old actress and Playmate of the Month for October 1987 appeared in a Sydney court after her arrival Friday on a flight from the U.S.
The former wife of Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx did not apply for bail or enter pleas. She was remanded in custody to appear in court in December.
Miss Brandt, a mother of three, is accused of being involved with a cocaine trafficking syndicate that hid packages of the drug on Qantas and United Airlines passenger planes that flew from California to Sydney.
Court documents filed in Sydney allege that Brandt conspired with others to import a commercial quantity of cocaine between July and December 2007 at Sydney airport, earning $130,000 in profit.
Last month, Brandt’s former boyfriend, motorcycle stuntman Rusty Setser, was extradited to Australia to face smuggling charges, Australian Associated Press reported.
Text messages obtained by investigators from Setser’s phone show that the daredevil referred to cocaine shipments as ‘surfboards.’

One missive he alleged sent to Brand read: ‘I need to run by you a package of boards that will blow your mind the foam is hands down the best on the market! These boards will blow your mind.’
Brandt allegedly arrived in Sydney November 4, 2007, on a Qantas plane, and within three days transferred $71,650 to herself in eight separate transactions using various banks.

After Rusty Setser was denied a visa to enter Australia, authorities say Brandt boarded a United Airlines flight that arrived in Sydney December 2, 2007, but left the following day.
Local Customs officers searched the plane with a drug-sniffing dog, which found a 12-block package of cocaine hidden in a garbage can in a bathroom at the rear of the aircraft.
Court documents stated that from July 23 to September 29, 2007, the former Playmate received 10 wire transfers from various Australian nationals.
Brandi Brandt shared the cover of the March 1990 issue of Playboy with real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Besides her career as a pinup, she also had a bit part in an episode of the hit sitcom 'Married... with Children' titled Desperately Seeking Miss October, which aired in 1989.
