The Duchess of Cambridge betrayed no hint of nerves today as she arrived in the Netherlands for her first solo foreign trip without William, wearing an elegant blue Catherine Walker coat. In a break from her usual style she wore her brunette locks swept back in a chic bun, and accessorised with delicate pearl earrings.

An alleged thief who was tackled by Bunnings security guards 12 hours before he died in hospital told them he could not breathe, shocking footage has revealed. Anthony Georgiou, 31, was leaving a Bunnings Warehouse in Frankston, south of Melbourne, on September 12 when he was pinned down by two guards. Distressing mobile phone footage obtained by A Current Affair shows blood coming out of the father-of-one's mouth as he pleads with security to let him go. Pinned down on his front with his arms twisted behind his back, Mr Georgiou says: 'Somebody help me, please! Get them off me! Help me!' Police arrived and called an ambulance, with paramedics taking Mr Georgiou to hospital in a critical condition. He died 12 hours later and leaves behind a four-year-old daughter.

NEW Australian broadcaster Paul Murray appeared to have his fly undone on live TV (left, right) on Tuesday night. Mr Murray was discussing Mike Baird's controversial decision to overturn the greyhound racing ban in New South Wales on his Sky News program PM Live when viewers spotted the unfortunate wardrobe malfunction. 'Do up your fly matey,' wrote a keen-eyed Twitter user (inset).

A 24-year-old student from Tasmania has revealed how she created her own home for only $6,000 after buying a caravan on Gumtree and transforming it from the inside out. Maggie Butler (inset) bought a $2,000 shell of a caravan (left) and then created a home (right). The caravan has a kitchenette, bathroom, living area and bedroom nook, all of which are decorated in Ms Butler's vintage style. The transformation only cost $4,000, meaning the 24-year-old has a home for $6,000.

Radhika Mandloi (left), from central India, started to suffer extreme pain and itching in her left ear last week. Her parents initially dismissed her discomfort, but when she began crying continuously they took her to hospital. Doctors were shocked to find a blow fly - attracted to bad smells - inside her ear which had laid around 80 larva (inset). Radhika had two sittings (right) to remove the insects. Both operations, which lasted for 90 minutes each, involved killing the maggots while they were in her ear.

Vincent Stanford (left) searched online for 'bride raped with wedding gown' and 'necro rape' in the days before he murdered engaged school teacher Stephanie Scott (right) in Leeton, New South Wales, last year. Ms Scott was due to be married days later but instead her body was found in burnt scrub near the town. Stanford has pleaded guilty to raping and killing the 26-year-old. On Tuesday, Ms Scott's mother Merrilyn (inset) delivered an emotional victim impact statement and the speech she would have read out at her daughter's wedding.

James Packer's ex-fiancée - formerly known as Kate Fischer - was photographed looking hardly recognisable outside her apartment in Toorak, Melbourne on Tuesday after speaking about her weight gain and reclusive life. The 42-year-old retired model previously lived a glamourous life in Sydney before moving to Los Angeles after her break-up in the late 90s - but today works as a part-time therapist and has changed her name to T'ziporah Malka bat Israel. New Zealand couple Beck Dole and Deo Bohn (inset) arrived at their new rental home in Shotover Country, north-east of Queenstown centre, to find that a wooden fence (main) had been built in front of their garage door. Several magpies quickly began swooping at the couple as soon as they got out of the car, wedding photographer Karen Parr said. The moment led to an entertaining image of the couple laughing as a magpie swoops them, causing Ms Maria to duck behind her husband, who throws his hands up to protect his head (right).

NEW This video shows the moment an alleged paedophile turned himself into the police after he was confronted by a vigilante. The man handed himself in at a police station in Taree, New South Wales, after a man calling himself the 'Coffs Coast Paedo Hunter' claimed to have chatted to him online while pretending to be a child. In the footage, the vigilante describes how met the alleged sex offender online and told him he was 'much older than me as I was only 14 and still in school'. The 'Paedo Hunter' claims the accused told him that 'age was just a number' and then asked for nude photographs. He also claims that the man sent him pictures and videos of him performing a sex act at home and at his workplace. The footage then shows a man standing inside a police station (pictured) and handing himself in before being arrested.

New Zealand bride-to-be Shontelle Crosby, struggled with severe self-esteem issues, on account of her disfigured, discoloured mouth (left). However, after appearing on a local radio station, the 33-year-old was gifted with an entirely new smile (right) by a dental company, which she got for free even though it cost around AUD $28,000.

Melbourne man Ruby Rue, 18, has sent social media into meltdown after sharing an array of daring derriere photos that have seen him dubbed the 'male Kim Kardashian.' Describing himself as a 'pretty boy,' the social media sensation is picking up some diehard fans for his provocative belfies. Rue is the latest in a long list of people who have endeavored to replicate Kim's unique image.

Despite being raised by an abusive father (above left), suffering from severe anxiety and hearing horrific voices in his head, Brian Wilson, now 74, became a musical genius. Father Murray Wilson steered his three sons into singing and playing in the family's garage and the boys eventually joined with cousin Mike Love and friend Al Jardine to form the Beach Boys (bottom right). But Brian's life was falling apart and Dr Eugene Landy (top right with Wilson), a psychotherapist later denounced as a Svengali, was called in to rescue the musician from himself. Landy took control of Wilson's life, charging him $35,000 a month for treatments that left him poorly groomed with food on his clothes, ashamed and afraid. Brian met his adored second wife, Melinda Ledbetter (center) in 1986 while she was selling Cadillacs. She helped him escape from Landy's clutches.

Parents Debbie, 28, and Brandon Potter, 29, from Bethpage, New York, gave into food cravings and late night takeaways after the birth of their first child Brayson, now aged three, in 2013. At their heaviest the couple's combined weight reached 34st 6lbs (485lbs) after consuming 8,000 calories a day - at their worst scoffing fast food for every meal, left. Carole Pridmore, from Chingford, Essex, shed six stone after her marriage broke down three years ago and then paid thousands for a boob job to complete her look. Now, after getting a new haircut and a new size 10 wardrobe, she exclusively dates younger men who she meets on a website called the Toyboy Warehouse. Ms Pridmore, 55, was a size 22 when she claims she found out her husband of 31 years was having an affair - and says he was signed up to nine different dating sites. The mother-of-three began hitting the gym with her daughters after finding herself newly-single and before long the weight was coming off. Three years on, Ms Pridmore, a secretary, is happier than ever. She is pictured left and inset before her divorce and main afterwards.

Video footage that some viewers may find hard to watch shows the teenager had her locks completely ripped off. The accident happened outside a college in Baraut, a small city just over 40 miles north of Delhi, India. In a horrific accident the girl, believed to be around 16-years-old, was trying to take a selfie beside a ferris wheel. But she got dangerously close to the ride in order to get the perfect shot.

Gemma Patten, 30, (left) had a smear test three years ago which came back clear. But she went to her GP after experiencing bleeding between her periods. She was referred for further tests at Barnet Hospital after abnormal cells were found. Doctors found a 1cm tumour and gave her the option of a hysterectomy or a procedure to remove part of her cervix, called a trachelectomy. The mother of Savannah, four, and Arizona, 18 months, (pictured inset with partner Joshua Archibong) had the procedure to remove the cancer but leave her womb. But she also needed chemotherapy (pictured right, during treatment using a cold cap) after cancer nodules were found on her lungs. 'Even though this has been the worst time in my life, I'm glad it has happened as it has made me appreciate life and has given me the knowledge and the facilities to be able to help others from suffering too,' she said.

Heidi Luckraft (left), 39, from Beeston, Nottinghamshire, was walking her dog four years ago when she was bitten by a tick. However, it wasn't until last year that she was finally diagnosed with Lyme disease. She is now on 29 different medications a day in hospital (inset) as the illness attacks her organs. Because of how long it took her to receive a correct diagnosis, it has left her with no treatment options in the UK and reliant on a wheelchair (right). Her family and friends are frantically trying to raise money for treatment in the US to try and save her life.

Unnerving footage appears to show a poltergeist that ghost hunters call the Black Monk throwing a chair down a staircase in one of Britain's most haunted houses in Yorkshire. The Black Monk is said to have been a 16th century monk who was found guilty and then hung to death on gallows near the house for the rape and murder of a girl.

A woman raised by lesbian mothers in Australia isn't sure she'd support same-sex marriage because growing up without a father was challenging and she struggled until she met her biological dad. Millie Fontana, 24 (pictured), has been lobbying politicians to support a plebiscite on the matter - but wants the rights of children in same-sex unions guaranteed. The Labor Party has now announced it will block the plebiscite going ahead.

This tiny Pakistani boy is clutching a whip made from chains and blades as he prepares to flagellate himself in a religious parade to mark the Muslim festival of Ashura. The young Shiite Muslim boy took part in commemorations yesterday in the city of Peshawar, in Pakistan. Other pictures from the religious procession in Peshawar show men and boys covered in blood and pool of crimson on the ground, as devotees whipped and cut themselves to mark the religious holiday.

NEW Andrei Mikhailov, 33, toured his native St Petersburg to take the photographs that appear more like paintings from an ancient book of fairy tales than the second-largest city in Russia. Among his arty pictures is an old sailing ship in St Petersburg's harbour and famous buildings such as the Hermitage and Winter Palace, Palace Square and Alexander Column, all set against dramatic skylines. The man behind the lens said: 'I love photography and my camera is always with me. I am inspired by the city view and landscapes. My friends and family all enjoy the pictures I take. When I take the pictures I try to process what I am seeing so I can make the scene more mysterious.'

Audience member Sarah Carson was asked by psychological illusionist Derren Brown to place the piece of glass on her tongue and to 'crunch on the big bits' during his West End production, Miracle, which aired on Channel 4. Carson then chewed an apple, swilled some water and swallowed the lot - shocking audiences who have since taken to Twitter to share their reaction.

The footage, said to have been captured in Ontario, Canada, shows a number of women - including the bride - sitting on chairs and waiting for the newlywed to pass. Blindfolded and being helped along by a another man, he stops at each female guest and uses his hands to feel their bare legs, knees and thighs. The groom, dressed in a dinner jacket, eventually reaches his wife and manages to identify her before pulling off his blindfold and leaning in for a kiss while guests cheer him on.

Goose, an eight-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, had a puzzled look on his face after being sheared last week having grown his coat for more than two months. His owner, hospitality manager Grant Brown, from Glasgow, Scotland, with his wife Laura, 25, said the pattern formed almost perfectly as he tidied up Goose's coat. Mr Brown, 31, said: 'We give him a haircut every couple of months because he gets a bit messy as it is started falling off him I realised it looked pretty cool. We had been waiting a wee while longer because we were waiting on a new set of clippers to come in the post so it was quite straggly. His hair does grow quite long but he enjoys getting it cut too. My wife likes it shorter so when the new gear came I sat him down and got it done.'
