For once nobody was eliminated.

And yet everybody was crying on Monday night's Dancing With The Stars.

It was the always emotional Most Memorable Year week, with dances dedicated to loves and loves lost, births and almost deaths, and personal triumphs.

Watering up! Ryan Lochte - and everybody else - shed plenty of tears on an emotional episode of DWTS on Monday

Disgraced Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte picked 2008, which was the year of his first individual gold medal, and his achieving a world record.

‘It was the happiest moment of my life,’ sobbed the newly-engaged sportsman.

The scandal laden 32-year-old did a contemporary dance with Cheryl Burke, 32.

He scored 24, his highest yet, dedicating his performance to his mom in the crowd, who he ran to at the end and embraced.

A strong performance came from Terra Jolé, 36, first little person to appear on DWTS. She did a contemporary dance with Sasha Farber, 33.

Terra described 2013, the year she was on tour with Miley Cyrus, and the year her father died of a heart attack.

High praise: ‘I’m really impressed,’ said Julianne, while Bruno praised his newfound ‘tenderness and fragility’.

Embarrassed: ‘Just coming out here, showing face in public, is so difficult,’ said Ryan.

‘I was supposed to be there, but I came home three days later and I will always regret that,’ she sobbed.

The year was also when she started Little Women: LA - ‘the show that changed my life,’ she recalled.

The Brady Bunch actress described battling a ‘five-year, heavy, cocaine addiction’ before she met her husband Michael and got clean.

‘He really helped save me from rock bottom,’ said the 60-year-old, who danced in a white, beaded gown to Dan + Shay’s love song From the Ground Up.

Carrie Ann called it ‘fierce’ but said she didn’t like Laurie’s solo opening to the dance.

Julianne cried again and Carrie Ann leapt up to give her a hug.

Amber Rose's tears meanwhile didn't come during the show but before it borne out of frustration. 

The TV host sobbed with frustration as she tried to learn the steps for a complex samba with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Her routine was themed for ‘My Most Memorable Year’ - she chose 2013, the year her son Sebastian was born.

‘Having my son made me stronger…I want my son to look at me as Superwoman,’ said the 32-year-old, who is the ex girlfriend of Kanye West.
