Beckham could carry on in MLS after Galaxy contract expires this season
David Beckham is considering playing on in the Major League Soccer beyond the end of his contract.
The 35-year-old Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder has not yet decided what to do when his current deal expires at the end of the 2011 season, but is not ruling out staying in America.
'Yeah, you know, there's a chance,' he told the Galaxy's website. 'I haven't made any decision about what I'm going to do after this year. I think it's important that I just concentrate on my play this year.

'At the end of the day, I am 35 years old, I'll be 36 in May and I'm getting older, so I'll need to see how my body feels at the end of the season, and if I feel that I can perform and continue, then I will continue.
'In a few months I will think about what I want to do and decide.
'I still love the game like I did when I was 21 years old and I still feel fit. I look after myself.'

Beckham trained with Barclays Premier League side Tottenham earlier this year in the MLS off-season and boss Harry Redknapp expressed an interest in taking him to White Hart Lane in a playing capacity.
The former Manchester United favourite signed for the Galaxy in 2007 after four years with Real Madrid.
Since moving to America Beckham has also had two loan spells with Italian giants AC Milan (in 2009 and 2010).
Last year's spell in Italy ended on a sour note as Beckham picked up an achilles injury and was forced to miss the World Cup.

He won the last of his 115 England caps as a substitute against Belarus in October 2009 but would welcome the opportunity to represent Great Britain at the London Olympics next summer.
Teams can name three players over 25 and Beckham added: 'I think it'd be something that I'd like to be involved in, and I'd like to be involved in as a player. But we'll have to wait and see. That's a year away yet. So we'll see.'
Beckham made another loan move this week from a museum in St Petersburg to Iran as a wax figure of the player was put on display at the Niavaran Culutural centre in Tehran.
Beckham joined the likes of Leonardo da Vinci, Charlie Chaplin, Napoleon Bonaparte, Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler and Oliver Kahn in making the temporary switch.
