Ex-England keeper Robinson close to West Ham switch with Henderson going the other way

Paul Robinson is a step closer to a reunion with Sam Allardyce as West Ham goalkeeper Stephen Henderson is on his way to Blackburn as part of the deal.

Although the deal has yet to be finalised by the two clubs, Henderson is happy to move to the North West for regular first team football.

Henderson, who didn’t feature for the Hammers following a summer move from Portsmouth and spent most of the season on loan at Ipswich Town.

Former England keeper Robinson has lost his place at Ewood Park and is keen to quit the troubled club.
