From Transformers to transparent: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley takes Jason Statham shopping in see-through dress

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley proved you don’t need to wear a short skirt to show some leg, as she strolled around West Hollywood in a sheer dress.

The model-turned actress was furniture shopping with boyfriend Jason Statham when she stepped out in the see-through peach ensemble.

The 23-year-old combined the transparent dress with a white fur jacket, while action film star Statham stayed casual in a green T-Shirt and khaki trousers.

It seems the couple is getting serious and if furniture shopping together wasn’t enough to prove it, they were having lunch with Statham’s parents in Malibu over the weekend.

Rosie and Jason, 43, have been dating for a year and both ditched Britain to live together in Los Angeles.

The Victoria’s Secret model’s move to LA came as she nabbed a role in the upcoming film Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon and her acting career seems to be moving from strength to strength.

Earlier this month Rosie won a gong for Female Star of Tomorrow at the CinemaCon Awards for her debut film role.

Speaking about her role in Transformers alongside leading man Shia LaBeouf, she recently revealed her insecurities about their kissing scene.

‘I had to wear heels the whole way through filming. When it came to our kissing scene, I said [to director Michael Bay], ‘Please let me take my shoes off! I feel so unelegant and I feel so unfeminine’, she told Access Hollywood.

She continued: ‘He said no, ‘You’re giving small men across America hope!’

And added: ‘It was great working with Shia. He’s such an intelligent guy. He’s worked so hard on these movies. He really held my hand like a baby the whole way through.’

The height-conscious model also decided to wear flat shoes while shopping with Statham yesterday.
