She has no current projects in the pipeline, so why wouldn't Eva Mendes jump at the chance to visit her boyfriend on his latest film set in Thailand?

The actress was pictured today in Bangkok, where her beau Ryan Gosling is currently on location filming Only God Forgives.

Eva, 37, stepped out solo to explore the area and sample some local cuisine from food stalls.

She kept cool in a pair of cropped floral trousers, a tied-up black vest and wedges.

The Hitch star carried a plate of street food, before stopping by a fresh fruit stall to purchase a coconut.

Eva chatted with the food sellers, who appeared bewildered by all the attention the A-list star was attracting, as they cut her refreshing drink open for her.

Eva has joined her boyfriend of five months in the Thai city while on a break from filming her own projects.

Gosling, 31, stars in the crime thriller, about a gangster and a Bangkok police officer who participate in a Thai-boxing match.

The actor has been ensuring he is fit for the role, making regular visits to his hotel gym.

In November, Ryan was the one playing the dutiful partner, visiting Eva in Paris where she was filming Holly Motors.

The couple met on the set of their film The Place Beyond The Pines last year.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Eva gushed about her experience working with the Crazy, Stupid, Love star on the film.

'He’s your dream co-star,' she told the magazine. 'I have never felt so creatively satisfied on a film.'
