The youngster, whose death-defying stunts include a double somersault followed by four 360-degree turns, is determined to make his name despite a catalogue of injuries including nine broken wrists, being knocked out twice and suffering a dislocated knee, a gashed finger and damaged eye socket.

Jordan said: ‘A Hollywood casting director has asked me to meet him after following me on Twitter.

‘I’m hoping to go there and make some videos and meet the right people.

‘People in Middleton know me as the rollerblader and I have the nickname The Flying Squirrel. I was introduced to rollerblading by my mates when I was about 13. Within nine months I did my first somersault.

‘It now costs £900 a year to keep me in rollerblades.

‘People ask if I’m crazy and how I have learned, but I’m not afraid of anything. When I’m travelling in the air it feels like heaven and it is so much more peaceful than when I’m on the ground. There is nothing to disturb you.’

Jordan, a former Middleton Technology School student, trains at the UK Skate park in Stockport. He has flipped over a row of six people and mastered a backflip followed by a 180-degree spin - tackling ramps of up to 36 feet at parks around the country.

Jordan, of Kenyon Lane, Moorclose, is now looking for sponsorship to help get to America.
Mum Janey said: ‘Jordan has never hung around on the streets as a teenager. He just took to rollerblading like a duck to water.’
