'Winter is coming!' Makeup-free Maisie Williams looks ready for combat as she dons armour to shoot scenes for hit show Game Of Thrones

The most recent season of Game Of Thrones ended with her character Arya Stark breaking away from her shackles once again to avenge the mass killing of her family.

And Maisie Williams, 19, looked ready for combat as she stepped out in all of her armoury while shooting scenes for the fantasy series in Northern Ireland recently.

In keeping with Arya's style and embattled circumstances, the pretty brunette was spotted exiting her trailer without a lick of makeup or any sign of jewellery.

Her raven tresses were also free of any fancy styling, instead being slicked back in waves, which rested on her shoulders as she shot scenes for the upcoming season.

As the fantasy show draws to its conclusion, Maisie recently fanned the flames of anticipation by telling fans that 'nothing will prepare' them for the seventh series.

Taking to Twitter in August, the Somerset native wrote: 'Holy BALLS. Just finished reading season 7. I'd start preparing yourselves now.

'Scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this. S*** gets REAL.'

Arya is set to play a bigger role in the current season, utilising the skills she learned as an apprentice assassin under the deadly Faceless Men after dramatically walking out on the order, seemingly to the delight of mentor Jaqen H'ghar.

After revealing the truth she got a modicum of revenge for the murder of her brother Robb and mother Catelyn at the infamous Red Wedding by slitting his throat.

Maisie, whose real name is Margaret, was recently nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Get your game on in green with Maisie's Milly dress

Maisie Williams attended the Serpentine Summer Party in this gorgeous green and black textured cocktail dress hot off the runway from Milly's Fall 2016 collection.

Nothing makes more of a regal statement quite like the color green...and Maisie's emerald dress in particular features a flirty feather texture throughout which ups the ante on this fashionable number.

Perfect for a garden party, Maisie's fit and flare silhouette is universally flattering-- it nips in the waist and showcases her legs.

We love that she teamed it with matching patterned heels for a look that wall all together polished and proper.

Lucky for us, it's available for pre-order here on the Milly site so you'll be the first to get it shipped to you once it arrives. That being said, why don't you scroll through some of our favorite alternatives in the edit below?

However it seems the best things will be coming in a smaller package than normal, as showrunner David Benioff confirmed there will only be two more truncated seasons of the show, with between ten and 15 more episodes being spread over two shortened series.

He said: 'It's two more seasons we're talking about. From pretty close to the beginning, we talked about doing this in 70-75 hours, and that's what we'll end up with. Call it 73 for now.'

The seventh season will, poetically enough, be made up of seven episodes, while the eighth will be made up of just six.
