Ed Norton and his wife Shauna Robertson appear to have welcomed a new addition to their family.

The Fight Club actor was seen carefully holding an infant as he arrived back at his New York home on Monday.

The 47-year-old looked focused as he carefully carried the baby's car seat along the sidewalk.

Baby on board: Actor Edward Norton was seen carrying a newborn in New York and is believed to have welcomed a new addition to the family a few months ago

The Birdman star and producer wife Shauna Robertson wed in secret 2012, and are already mom and dad to three-year-old son Atlas.

They are thought to have welcomed the new baby a few months ago, and were spotted on vacation in St. Tropez with a baby in July.

Edward's rep told DailyMail.com she does not comment on her client's personal life.

The actor kept a low profile as he strolled back to the family's residence with the baby in Manhattan.

The Primal Fear actor covered up in a black fedora and sunglasses, and like many fathers of a new baby, sported some scruffy stubble.

Edward wore a plaid shirt unbottoned over a white shirt, and rolled his denims up at the cuffs.

The Fight Club star was later seen rolling a large suitcase into the house while holding a soft white baby blanket.

Ed most recently appeared in Seth Rogen's raunchy animated comedy Sausage Party, playing a bagel.

He is also set to appear in the upcoming Will Smith drama Collateral Beauty, which is set to hit theaters in December.

And the Oscar nominee will also reunite with his Grand Budapest Hotel and Moonrise Kingdom director Wed Anderson to voice a character in an upcoming stop-motion comedy about dogs.
