E-fit images were released today of two men wanted by police investigating the abduction and rape of a 14-year-old schoolgirl in Oxford.

Thames Valley Police detectives said the victim continued to be supported by specially-trained officers as they sought to gain more details about her ordeal.

No arrests have been made since the girl was made to get into a hatchback car as she walked in the Summertown area of the city a fortnight ago on September 28.

Inside the car, which was possibly a Volkswagen, a second man was waiting. After her abduction the teenager, who was wearing her school uniform, was raped.

Following her ordeal, she was found knocking on doors in the Marston area of the city and the alarm was raised, officers from the force's major crime unit said.

Exactly one week on from the crime, police deployed high-visibility patrols in the area in a bid to unearth clues about her attackers.

Now police have issued e-fit images of two men they want to speak to.

Detective Superintendent Chris Ward, head of major crime at Thames Valley Police, urged anyone who recognises the pair to call police.
