Hilary Duff got a double rose tattoo on her arm last week.

And on Tuesday her ink master Dr Woo shared a close-up look of the design on his Instagram account.

'Lil rose,' was all the artist wrote in his caption. This comes after the Younger actress told Ellen DeGeneres she has at least 12 tattoos on her body.

Brian Woo - known to his clients as Dr Woo - is famous for his flawless, minimal and unique designs.

The former Lizzie McGuire star posted her own black and white snapshot as she received the permanent body art.

'Had a good hang with @_dr_woo_ yesterday and I'm loving my rose,' the Younger star wrote alongside the image.

Other celebrity clients of Dr Woo include Drake, Miley Cyrus, Ariel Winter, Cara Delevingne, Jaime King, Emilia Clarke and Ellie Goulding.

The Disney Channel alum revealed last year she had a dozen inkings. Among the designs is hummingbird with the message 'stand by me,' Luca's name, and a 'Thick as thieves' message she shares with sister Haylie.

Back in March 2015, she spoke on The Ellen DeGeneres Show about her love of tattoos.

'I think that part of me loves tattoos and part of me doesn't want the full commitment of getting to see them all the time,' she explained.

Hilary joked: 'So when my arms are down I look just like a normie and when my arms are out I look super hardcore like a gangster.'

The blonde beauty received her latest markings just before meeting up with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie and their four-year-old son, Luca.

And no doubt Hilary could hardly wait to show the retired professional hockey coach her latest tattoo as they enjoyed a play date in Los Angeles.

Hilary seemed to be having a great time with her former Pittsburgh Penguins player Mike as they spent some time with their son in West Hollywood.

The couple split in January 2014 after tying the knot in 2010. She filed for divorce in February 2015 from the retired NHL player.

Just over a week ago Hilary was spotted out and about in New York her latest beau Jason Walsh.

The couple, who back in June were said to be 'casually dating,' had a fun weekend in the Big Apple, spending time at the gym and in various restaurants.

They were also spotted holding hands as they shopped in the SoHo district

While she was having fun with personal trainer Jason, her ex-husband Mike was spotted taking Luca to a farmers market with former sister-in-law Haylie Duff.
