Daniel Sturridge needs to improve decision-making to become a 'top, top player', says Ryan Giggs as Ian Wright insists England were lucky not to lose to Slovenia in 2018 World Cup qualifier

Daniel Sturridge must improve his decision-making if he wants to become a world class striker and occupy a regular position in the England team, according to Ryan Giggs.
Sturridge started England's disappointing goalless draw against Slovenia as the lone striker in a four-man attack but struggled to make an impact.
Giggs suggested that had the Liverpool striker been more dynamic in attack England may have left the Stozice Stadium with more than just a point.

'I played with Sturridge at the Olympics [in 2012 for Great Britain],' the former Manchester United winger told ITV Sport in his role as a pundit.
'He has everything. He's got a good touch, good finisher, he's quick, he can run the channels but to be a top, top player... decision-making.
'You have to make the right decisions. You have to make the right decisions more often than you make bad decisions. Today there were just too many bad decisions.'
Sturridge lacked composure and snatched at his chances before he was replaced by Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford in the 82nd minute.

Ian Wright, who said Sturridge 'wasn't quite as dynamic' on Tuesday, also admitted that he felt Gareth Southgate's men were lucky not to lose to Slovenia in their second game in their Group F qualifying group.
The former Arsenal striker insisted England only managed a draw because of an exceptional performance by goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Hart pulled off a number of sensational saves to prevent Slovenia from taking the lead.
The best came in the 47th minute when the goalkeeper, on loan at Torino from Manchester City, remarkably kept out a clever header by Jasmin Kurtic, which looked destined for the top left corner.

England are top of Group F
He said: 'I think we had a lot of possession but we didn't dominate it. I think the better chances were by far Slovenia's.
'We were lucky to get out of that not losing the game and it's down to him because he was brilliant. I'm delighted for him the way he's come through it but we're very lucky tonight.'
Giggs added: 'Slovenia will think they've done enough to nick it.'
'But they didn't and that's because of Joe Hart,' former Arsenal player and fellow pundit Lee Dixon replied.
The former defender wasn't happy with what he saw particularly from the Three Lions' defence, which he said relied too much on Hart getting them out of trouble.

Former defender Lee Dixon felt England's players were saved by goalkeeper Hart
He said: 'We were sloppy tonight defensively there's no doubt about that but they got better in the second half offensively. If it hadn't have been for Joe Hart... there were two back passes and two really bad examples of marking at corners and he's saved us.
'The first one in the first half [Eric] Dier doesn't look and passes it back. It was all our own doing.
'Henderson's near post [for the corner] and that's his job. Don't move, just wait for him to come in your area. He gets done at the first near post and it's a great save from Joe Hart and it goes straight out for another corner.
'This is the corner straight from there... Henderson's job [to stay at the front left of the six-yard area] is to mark Kurtic and he gets away from him... and what a save that is.'
