And Monica Bellucci's eternal presence was in full swing as she touched down at Narita International Airport in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.

The 52-year-old actress looked the epitome of chic in a demure all-black ensemble as she strutted her way through the building.

Her brunette tresses were parted down the centre and slicked down, poker straight - boasting not a strand out of place. 

And while a large pair of shades were prominent on her face, it didn't manage to hide her pretty features, which showed no signs of jet-lag.  

Monica -  who began her career as a model in 1977, has never been busier and has been doing the film festival rounds to promote her latest flick, On The Milky Road.

The brunette sizzler plays the beguiling love interest in the drama film that according to IMDB is, 'a story that stretches across war, blossoming love and living as a recluse'.

Days before that she wowed yet again in a striking sheer tiered gown for the Glamour 'n Soul opening at Museo Maxxi in Rome, Italy.

Featuring panels of mauve, cream and peach, the colour-clashing number was cinched at the waist with a large patent belt to emphasise the Italian bombshell's hourglass figure to perfection. 

She may look as fit as ever, but Monica definitely indulges.

The acting legend recently told the Telegraph newspaper that she doesn't like the gym and enjoys treating herself to cakes, pasta, wine and cigarettes.

Monica explained: 'I’m not someone who wakes up at 6am to go to the gym.
