'I'm too soft... I'm not made for this': Miley Cyrus sobs after losing her protege on The Voice
She’s known as a bit of an outrageous party girl, but Miley Cyrus fell to pieces on The Voice on Tuesday.
The Wreaking Ball singer, 23, sobbed when losing her protégé Lane Mack, during the battle rounds.
‘I’m too soft..I’m not made for this,’ she decided, as she wiped away tears.

‘Would you stop crying please, you’re ruining your reputation,’ country singer Blake Shelton told her backstage.
‘I can’t..I know I’m supposed to be heartless and hardcore and super punk rock,’ she protested.
‘But now they’ll see you in your pajamas crying,’ scoffed Blake, in reference to the orange onesie Miley was sporting.

‘Sophia is so much prettier than Lane,’ remarked Blake, who thought Lane won the round.
Miley chose Sophia but lost it when Lane left.
‘I cant stop crying,’ she blubbered.

Blake’s students were up next: Thirty six-year-old songwriter Courtney Harrell from L.A. against Ethan Tucker, 26, a reggae-lover, who cares for his grandma in Washington state.
They trained for John Mayer’s mega-hit Gravity, with assistance from Broadway star Bette Midler, 70.
Bette made them hold hands in rehearsals, to ‘connect’ better, which seemed to work wonders.
‘Beautiful job, both of you,’ said Alicia Keys, who praised Courtney’s high notes.

Blake procrastinated over the decision, eventually choosing Courtney.
‘Ethan has a really cool sound..but as far as vocal ability goes Courtney showed me that there’s nothing she can’t sing,’ said the 40-year-old Voice veteran.
New judge Alicia, 35, was working with Grammy-winner Charlie Puth, 24. They paired Kentucky medical supply salesman Dave Moisan, 33, and piano player Michael Sanchez, 25, from San Diego.
The men battled over Valerie by The Zutons, which was popularised by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse.
Dave was a ‘four chair turn’ in auditions and Michael only turned one - but after the song Michael made the cut.

Blake decided that Michael looked like Rick Moranis.
‘My favorite performance of today so far…in my opinion you just won that battle,’ he decided.
‘I’m going to Superman him out,’ said Alicia.
‘Super Moranis,’ quipped Blake.
Adam Levine quickly dove in to steal Dave.
‘Let’s push you all the way through to the end,’ urged the Maroon 5 frontman, praising Dave’s ‘range’ and ‘power’.
The Voice continues next Monday on NBC.
