He's one of the world's biggest megastars with millions of pounds to his name and a jetset lifestyle to boot.

But Justin Bieber didn't appear to let fame go to his head today when he casually dropped into a north London school for a kickabout.

The 22-year-old Canadian pop sensation, who is worth an estimated £165million ($200 million), turned up at Highgate School and played football with some pupils.

Dressed low-key in a pair of grey skinny jeans, a waterproof coat and orange trainers, the world-famous singer joined in for a quick PE session.

However, many pupils seemed shocked to see him - suggesting it may have been a last-minute visit or kept heavily under-wraps.

Bieber is currently in the capital for a three-night stint at the O2 Arena as part of his UK 'Purpose' tour.

The best-selling male Canadian artist, who has more than 100million sales to his name, flew into Luton Airport on a private jet on Monday afternoon.

Sporting a new close-cropped hairstyle, he held his copy of Occupy All Streets while he greeted ground staff at the airport.

Beiber and his security guard, who was carrying a small dog, then waited together at the airport before heading in to passport control.

As well as performing in London, the popstar will also head to Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow before jetting off to Europe in November.

He then returns to the O2 Arena for two more nights towards the end of the month.

His casual appearance in Highgate today comes just a week after he sported a bizarre disguise while stepping out for coffee in Amsterdam.

The star donned a 70s-style moustache, a goatee beard and a windswept wig – but managed to draw more attention to himself.

The Sorry singer combined the suspect disguise with a pair of aviators, a red and black flannel shirt, plain white Tee, chinos and espadrilles.

Joined by his security guard, he even approached some girls and asked, 'Does this look real?', pretty much giving the game away.

He sat at the counter of a coffee shop as he waited for his beverage before walking back outside where people tried to get pictures of the star.

His distinctive neck tattoos, which include a large pair of angel wings, were clearly visible.
