She celebrated her 29th birthday with some girlfriends in Cancun, Mexico.

And Ashley Graham was simply sizzling as she indulged in some beach time in a stylish black bikini during the getaway at Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue beauty showed off the curves that landed her the coveted cover this year.

Ashley teamed her halterneck two-piece with a gold bodychain as well as numerous rings and hoop earrings.

She showed off a glossy red manicure and wore her brunette locks loose for a glam Bond girl look. 

After cooling off in the ocean Ashley reclined on a sunbed to soak up some rays while sipping on champagne. 

While speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in February, Ashley discussed her appearances in SI and the pressure placed on young models.

'I have always been told plus-size starts at a size eight and it goes up to a size 16/18,' Ashley explained.  

Ellen was undoubtedly shocked that a woman who is a mere size eight would be considered plus-size.

'So the majority of this room is considered plus-size. I hope you feel better about yourself,' Ashley said with a laugh.

'That's the problem. Like, we're telling women that they are plus-size, and for me I just like to call it "curvesexilicious".'

Ellen recalled that when she was younger the smallest size was a size two and now there is a zero.

Ashley went on to note that there is even a double zero, explaining that it is a 'little scary' on both spectrums of weight.

'I am not a promoter of anorexia. I am not a promoter of obesity,' the body activist explained. 'I think we have to promote women to be healthy at every size as long as they are getting off of the couch and moving their body.'
