Tiny dancer! Kelly Clarkson daughter River Rose boogies to Salt-N-Pepa for a good cause

She was keen to take up the #DiabetesDanceDare challenge to raise diabetes awareness.

And Kelly Clarkson's adorable two-year-old daughter, River-Rose, was keen to join in too.

The 34-year-old singer shared a charming 72-second clip of herself and the little cutie dancing around the kitchen to Push It by hip-hop trio Salt-N-Pepa on Twitter on Tuesday.

'This is totally inappropriate for a two-year-old!' Kelly joked about the hit's saucy lyrics as she and the tot boogied on down.

But, given River Rose's age, it's unlikely she understood quite what she was dancing to or why.

But she certainly enjoyed the strong beat, jumping up and down with obvious glee.

The tot was kitted out in a grey and pink striped T-shirt with black leggings and owl shoes.

Her pink and white baseball was set at a suitable angle for a hip-hop star.

Meanwhile, mum, who welcomed baby Remington on April 12, wore a grey sweatshirt with black leggings and a black baseball cap.

At the beginning of the clip, Kelly threw down the gauntlet to the entire cast of The Voice - Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus plus Gwen Stefani, who was coach for seasons 7 and 9.

And she later added The Voice host Carson Daly to the challenge.

Kelly shares River Rose and baby boy Remington with her husband and talent manager Brandon Blackstock, who is singer Reba McEntire's stepson through her marriage to Narvel Blackstock. 

The couple will celebrate their third wedding anniversary on October 20.
