After marrying last year, the couple have suffered an extremely acrimonious split leading to the 37-year-old's arrest after she texted her ex in pursuit of 'thousands of pounds he owes to her father'.

Jodie split from her husband last August before announcing the split in April, leading to a bitter war of words including her claims that he was making monetary demands toward her despite a pre-nup in place.

She took to Instagram on Tuesday night to tease her 424,000 followers about the details of the alleged arrest as she shared a sexy nude snap in which her modesty was protected by two heart Emojis.

Mysterious: As fans swarmed her Twitter profile to read more of her apparent arrest, she penned an illusive note reading: 'To sum up; I have been arrested and charged with "harassment" - see for details..... I'm a very bad girl.....'

While Jodie remained playful in regard to the alleged legal woes, her new management KTS Talent took to the microblogging site to provide comment.

A spokesperson penned: 'The allegations of harassment against Jodie Marsh are due to her texting her husband asking about thousands of pounds he owes to her father...

'Jodie strenuously denies these allegations and we think that they are utterly ridiculous.... Jodie's father has started his own proceedings to try to reclaim the money he is owed by Jodie's ex.'

MailOnline has approached KTS Talent for comment.

Further backing her denials was Witham-based law firm Levy & Co Solicitors - Criminal & Family Law - of which a representative posted on the company's Twitter account.

'I've been getting threats,' the reality star told Star magazine. 'I was panicking. Family and friends have been staying over because I've been feeling so vulnerable.'

The turbulent marriage and subsequent break up have even prompted Jodie to consider moving further afield.

'I'm thinking of moving abroad for a fresh start and leaving my demons behind,' she admitted. 'I'd like to go somewhere no one could find me.
