  • Luntz estimates that he spends approximately 50 nights in the home every year

Republican pollster Frank Luntz opened the doors of his California mansion to The Hollywood Reporter so he could show off a multi-million renovation that left parts of the interior looking just like the White House.

The 14,000-square-foot home features replicas of not only the Oval Office and the Lincoln bedroom, but also the dress that Monica Lewinsky wore when she spent some alone time with President Bill Clinton.

The dress is hanging from a bathroom door, just outside the replica Oval Office in Luntz's home.

Fans of the home interior's include Clint Eastwood, Warren Beatty, Dana Carvey and even former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who have all paid visits to the Brentwood mansion.

'I want to be surrounded by things that make me happy because every day I am surrounded by things that make me sad,' said Luntz of his motivation for remodeling the interior of his home.

'In my real life, there is an awful lot of anger and disappointment and even a sense of betrayal. So I come to this home to get away from all of that.

'This home is like an oasis of peace and quiet within a tempest of chaos and hell.'

Luntz then added: 'This house is a celebration of the American idea. Even though we know the truth about the country and what it has become.'

Luntz, who is 54 and single, has been openly critical about both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the upcoming election.

'I want Lincoln-Douglas and instead I am getting Beavis and Butt-head,' said Lunyz, who runs Luntz Global.

He bought the six-bedroom, 13-bathroom home back in 2009 for $6.25million, and estimates he spends approximately 50 nights a year there due to his hectic travel schedule.

Luntz has also turned the pool house into a 50s-themed diner and added a newsstand, bowling alley, arcade and screening room to the main and guests houses on the property.

The walls meanwhile are lined with letters from famed leaders and politicians ranging from Oliver Cromwell to Theodore Roosevelt.

And then there is the sports memorabilia.

That includes the baseball mitt from the 1984 Robert Redford film The Natural, the Olympic torches from 1936 Games in Berlin and the 1984 Games in Los Angeles, and footballs signed by nearly every Heisman Trophy winner.

And Luntz will be more than ready to return home for some rest and relaxation once the election is over next month.

'I am living every day as though November 8 was my last,' he said in the interview.
