'Are you not used to the weather?' Jeremy Renner refuses to take his coat off during awkward interview with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard

He came on the show to talk about his latest movie offering, Arrival, but Jeremy Renner refused to take his coat off during awkward interview on Wednesday.

During an interview with Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, he sat huddled up in his winter coat which seemed a little odd. 

'You've got your coat on. Are you not used to the weather?' Susanna asked him.

Later on in the interview, Susanna asked the 45-year-old about his latest movie, Arrival, but the movie star told her he doesn't watch films.

'I don't really watch movies. I don't have time.'

'What so Ben has seen the film you're in and you haven't?' Susanna enquired.

'I have seen it, just not all the way through,' Jeremy hit back.

While on the show, Jeremy sang the praises of his Arrival co-star Amy Adams, saying that he there are 'not enough strong female roles for women in Hollywood.'

He said: 'She is a superhero. She is a smart woman, a linguist.'

The conversation soon turned to Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and the Presidential election, with the presenters asking him what he thought of their recent debate. 

'I think it's quite disgusting. I love the idea that we could hopefully have a woman in power. 

Adding: 'We're in trouble. It's a debacle. The Brexit wasn't the greatest thing, either.'
