Blink-182's Tom DeLonge discussed UFOs with Hillary Clinton's campaign manager in leaked emails

Former Blink-182 rocker Tom DeLonge emailed with the Hillary Clinton campaign in an effort to get their help to prove aliens exist.

The 40-year-old musician exchanged a series of emails with Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta, about the existence of UFOs, according to documents recently released by WikiLeaks

The duo had previously discussed their UFO beliefs and DeLonge once interviewed Podesta for a documentary about extraterrestrial objects, which he referred to in the communications.

In an email from 2015 obtained by WikiLeaks DeLonge suggests Podesta meet two 'important' people he knows and explains he would just need two hours of his time.

'I think you will find them very interesting, as they were principal leadership relating to our sensitive topic. Both were in charge of most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics. Other words, these are A-Level officials. Worth our time, and as well the investment to bring all the way out to you.' the star wrote.

In a separate email DeLonge referred to a former military general, who was involved in the Roswell UFO crash back in the 1940s.

DeLonge, who is a big believer in the existence of extraterrestrial beings, asked Podesta to meet two 'important' people in 'classified science'  in the email

'When Roswell crashed, they shipped it to the laboratory at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. [HE]was in charge of that exact laboratory up to a couple years ago,' the father-of-two wrote.

In an interview with Paper magazine in early 2015 DeLonge discussed Area 51, government mind control and forbidden engineering leading SF Weekly to question whether the star was having a mental breakdown.

Since leaving Blink-182 the singer has been focusing much of his time on his Sekret Machines franchise, meeting with high-ranking military personnel and scientific experts to pitch them his ideas.

Podesta, who has also held high-ranking roles in the Obama and Bill Clinton administration, has previously said he believes the government should be more transparent with its UFO files.

And while presidential hopeful Hillary has never clarified whether she believes in extraterrestrial beings, she said in a radio interview in May: 'I don't know. I want to see what the information shows,

'There's enough stories out there that I don't think everybody is just sitting in their kitchen making them up.'
