She's the Oscar-winner with plenty of Hollywood projects in the pipeline.

And it was business as usual for Cate Blanchett as she was spotted in New York City on Wednesday.

The busy actress, 47, wrapped up against the chilly weather in a stylish jacket and a wool jumper.

She paired her cropped cream trousers with a white collared shirt under her grey coat.

Instead of a scarf, the Australian actress wrapped a thick cable-knit jumper around her neck.

The mother-of-four wore a pair of white sneakers, and carried a large brown leather tote bag with her.

Cate's blonde hair were pulled off her face and secured in to a small bun at the back of her head.

She added a splash of colour with her signature pink-rimmed oversized glasses.

Cate's film career has been particularly busy as of late. 

Last week, Voyage of Time: Life's Journey - a documentary about humanity's place in the universe - which she narrated, was released.

She was recently filming Thor: Ragnarok in Queensland and will also star in Ocean's Eight, which opens in 2018.

The plot is currently unknown, but at the moment it seems to be an all-female cast.
