Guitarist and backup vocalist for My Chemical Romance Frank Iero (inset) has been seriously injured in a bus crash in Sydney's CBD. It is believed he and another man from his new band Frank Iero and The Patience were standing at the rear of their van on Park Street around 3.50pm when the bus crashed into them, according to Nine News. One man has been airlifted to St Vincent's Hospital and the other taken by ambulance, while a third man escaped serious injury and was treated by paramedics at the scene. Images from the scene showed the back door of a black van with music equipment inside mangled and the road littered with debris (main image).

This video shows the bizarre moment a crazed man demanded to know whether a woman on a train was God. The shocking footage shows the man, who appears to be mentally unstable, repeatedly yelling at a woman: 'Are you God?' Remaining surprisingly calm, the woman tries to find out what the man is screaming about, but her attempts fail and the confrontation ends in a scuffle. The incident, which appears to have taken place on a train in Australia, shows the man jabbing his finger at the commuter as he continually asks her if she is a deity.

Shocking footage has emerged of the moment a shirtless jogger knocked a father-of-seven unconscious in an alleged one-punch attack. The surveillance video shows the two men crossing paths on a South Brisbane street shortly before Timothy Lang, 48, (top right) was allegedly struck with a fatal blow to his head on Saturday morning. Australian inventor Andrew Dyhin (pictured) claims to have made a potato product that melts, grates and tastes just like cheese. The new 'superfood' has no dairy content whatsoever and its creator, Andrew Dyhin, claims it is healthier and more eco-friendly than ordinary cheese. Mr Dyhin, from Melbourne, created CHATO (a combination of the words 'cheese' and 'potato') and says his extraordinary product is suitable for both vegans and people who are lactose intolerant. He recommends dicing it up and having it in a potato salad or using it as a pizza topping, but said the liquid product can also be used to make ice cream, custard, mayonnaise and yoghurt (or on toasties inset).

The American baby got his foot stuck in the leg of his onesie and can't see it, so he wildly kicks at it with his other leg and looks increasingly worried that it does not appear, while his mother laughs at his antics. As his foot still cannot be found, the wide-eyed baby waves his arms around in frustration and pulls an increasingly worried expression.

Paisley Morrison-Johnson, from South Dakota, has Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome, a rare overgrowth disorder affecting around one in every 14,000 births worldwide. It meant her tongue grew to twice the size of her mouth and gave her problems breathing and eating. She spent the first six months of her life being fed through a tube directly into her stomach. But she has now had two operations, removing around eight inches of muscle from her mouth. Her mother, Madison Kienow, said: 'Since recovering she smiled for the very first time. I couldn't believe it and was shocked by how beautiful my little girl looked.'

The Peshmerga troops have converted large cars and lorries into war vehicles by adding metal plates, grills and missile launchers as they prepare to battle ISIS for the control of the Iraqi city of Mosul. They have been forced to take the initiative of bolstering their cars and lorries after ISIS jihadists captured Mosul and fought off the Peshmerga, who only use Soviet-era military equipment. Mosul, home to up to 1.5 million people, has been the headquarters of the ISIS self-declared caliphate in northern Iraq since 2014.

The footage, which was posted on social media by a Russian cat breeder, shows the two tabby felines (pictured) surrounding a bowl of milk not quite big enough for both of their heads. Instead of both trying to squeeze their faces in, the cats decide to take it in turns to lap up the milk. But they are each pretty quick to decide the other has had enough.
