Super star! Christian Bale treats his wife Sibi and two kids to a day of family fun at Disneyland
He's played heavy characters throughout his long and illustrious career.
Christian Bale lightened up as he spent a day at Disneyland with his wife Sibi and their two children Emmeline, 11, and Joseph, two, on Wednesday.
The 42-year-old Big Short actor proved he can be silly too while sporting a animated superhero T-shirt that put his previous role of the Caped Crusader to shame.
Fast and fun: Christian Bale enjoyed the ride during a family day at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA with his wife Sibi and their children Emmeline and Joseph
Christian looked comfortable and besides the eye-catching cartoonish shirt, he wore green cargo trousers with red white-laced trainers.
He looked just like any other citizen tooling around the Disney theme park in Anaheim, California.
Christian also took charge of pushing his son Joseph in his covered stroller.
What a sport: The 42-year-old actor pushed his sleepy boy in a stroller while flaunting an animated superhero T-shirt that might have put his former character Batman to shame
In sync: Christian and his wife of 16 years, Sibi, walked side by side through the busy and bustling Disney theme park
Bright attire: The Welsh-born actor showed stylish although whimsical flair in that shirt along with cargo trousers and red trainers
His wife of 16 years, Sibi, looked comfortable in patched denim jeans and a black long-sleeved top with another black shirt tied around her waist.
She carried a backpack that contained all the children's necessary items, to be sure.
The couple's golden-haired daughter Emmeline was spreading the 'good vibes' in a slogan T-shirt.

What's next: It looks like Christian's daughter was leading the way to the next ride
Career-wise, Christian previously admitted he was a bit jealous to see his most famous role to date go to Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
As he told Entertainment Tonight: 'I've got to admit initially, even though I felt that it was the right time to stop, there was always a bit of me going, 'Oh, go on ... Let's do another."
'So when I heard there was someone else doing it, there was a moment where I just stopped and stared into nothing for half an hour.
'The fact that I'm jealous of someone else playing Batman, I think I should have gotten over it by now.'
As reviews for the film haven't been solid gold, Bale might be rethinking that statement.
