Centerfolds defend Trump: 'Barbi Twins' say he was always 'a perfect gentleman' at parties, clubs and casino events and never took advantage of beautiful women who were 'all over him'

A pair of former Playboy cover models have emerged to defend Donald Trump amid a hurricane of female accusers who claim he made unwanted seuxal advances toward them during the past 30 years.

The 'Barbi Twins' – Shane and Sia, the first twin sisters to pose nude for Playboy – told DailyMail.com in a series of emails that they first met the Republican presidential nominee in January 1993.

They inhabited a world of nude models and Playboy mansion parties at the time, the sisters, now 53, recalled, and saw one woman after another 'falling all over him.'

But through it all, they insist they never saw him grope or kiss anyone even as he fended off advances from one woman after another.

'It is frightening the way the media can ruin someone's image with accusations like the ones leveled against Trump,' Shane Barbi, now 53, said.

'While I never want to dismiss a woman's claim of sexual abuse, in our personal experience we saw no indication that Donald Trump would do anything like that.'

'On the contrary,' she wrote, 'he was a perfect gentleman to us, and to all of those other beautiful women that were all over him.'

Shane said she and her sister don't plan to vote for Trump in November. She had hoped Florida Sen. Marco Rubio would emerge as the Republican nominee.

'My first choice for president was "Little Marco," someone Trump made fun of,' she said. 'And now we are voting for Jill Stein of the Green Party. So we have nothing invested in saying this.

'Trump had a trashy mouth on "Access Hollywood" and "Howard Stern," but we saw him in so many situations with tons of gorgeous women where he was a total gentleman.'

Sia Barbi recalled Hugh Hefner's magazine publicists setting her up to attend parties and hit night-spots with Trump in order to fuel rumors that the billionaire real estate developer was dating one – or both – of the twins.

It was all tabloid fodder, created to boost the profiles of everyone involved. And 'we went along with it,' Sia said.

But even in that situation, she told DailyMail.com, The Donald never took advantage.

Other women, however, were constantly cutting in.

'Trump invited us to go to a few parties that were full of top supermodels and beautiful women.' Sia Barbi said. 'They were falling over him.'

'We also did a Boxing hosting job in Atlantic City for his casino. He never bothered us or anyone else. He was pure business.'

'It was there that all these pin-up and Playmates were coming up to us to ask us for his phone number, and dying to get a picture of them with Donald Trump,' she recalled.

'Those women were very aggressive and started telling the papers they were fighting with us, over Trump, to get into the papers, which was not true. We had our own boyfriends and Trump was extremely professional with us.'

Trump, Shane Barbi added, 'would shake their hand but was very, very professional.'

'He was surrounded by gorgeous super models, Playmates and pinups that were begging us to introduce them to him.'

'He was very popular with women,' she said, 'yet ignored all of that.'

As the Barbis swung from Rubio to Stein during the election season, they made a point of passing over Hillary Clinton.

Shane cited two of the Democratic nominee's political black eyes among the reasons why, including a woman who had a political coming-out eight days ago at the second presidential debate.

'People who want to believe Trump's accusers need to also listen to the woman, Kathy Shelton, who was raped and beaten as a 12 years old child,' she said.

'Instead of having a child's advocate on her side, Hillary represented her rapist and laughed about it later.'

Clinton, then a young attorney, persuaded an Arkansas court to exclude forensic evidence of rape from her client's rape trial, in part by convincing the judge that Shelton, at age 12, was psychologically unstable and prone to sexually fantasize about older men.

Shane Barbi said Trump's accusers, now nine in all, are a political 'side show' organized 'to avoid the real issues that are troubling our nation' – including foreign policy.

'I'm not sure what Trump supporters feel,' she mused. 'But I do think that some got a taste of how Hillary failed her position as secretary of state in saving Americans in the 9/11 planned attacks on Benghazi.'

The September 11, 2012 terror attack in the Libyan port city has become the biggest albatross around Clinton's neck.

Four Americans died that day, including the U.S. ambassador to Libya, when armed jihadis stormed a State Department building and a nearby CIA annex, firing mortars and driving the Americans out of the city.

Clinton publicly blamed the attack on a spontaneous protest inspired by an anti-Muslim Internet video produced in California. 

But privately she told family members and foreign leaders that it was a pre-planned military assault by Ansar al-Shariah, a regional affiliate of al-Qaeda.

Shane Barbi said she and Sia are most proud of the military men who took gunfire to buy time for their countrymen to escape.

'Our number-one heroes are the Benghazi heroes,' she said, naming Kris Paronto, John Tig and Mark Geist.

'Every American should watch the "13 Hours" movie,' she added, and 'ask themselves what would happen if they were stuck in a country like Libya and were begging for help.

'Which candidate would come and help, and which candidate already failed that? Which candidate lied about those pleas and said it was a video?'

In a June interview with the entertainment website Popdust.com, Shane explained what she sees as Trump's appeal. 

'Trump is many people's protest vote. If you tell people NOT to vote for him, people will do the opposite,' she said. 'No one likes to be told what to do.'

'Both parties spent millions to campaign against Trump, yet he won. The people have spoken; that's true democracy.'

She said the Republican is 'independent of any special interests' and has 'the best tax plan.'

And '[i]n a PC world of policing "political correctness," Trump breaks all [the] rules and still wins. That is a leader, not a follower.' 

Since the emergence of a 2005 tape in which Trump boasted about making unwanted advances on women, nine have come out to claim they were victims of the behavior he described.

Trump has furiously defended himself, saying all the accusations are false. A few seem to have disintegrated in the face of evidence that contradicts the women's claims.
