Desert Chic! Alessandra Ambrosio hits 'Oldchella' day two as Paul McCartney and Neil Young rock Indio once again

They may be getting on in years.

But there was no stopping Paul McCartney and Neil Young as they rocked Desert Trip for the second week on Saturday night.

Both septuagenarians knocked it out of the park - or the polo field - as they slayed a crowd ranging in age from teens to a handful even older than themselves.

While it's younger sister festival Coachella is famous for its surprise guest performers, 'Oldchella' proved it can keep up with the kids when McCartney was joined on stage by Rihanna.

The duo performed their hit FourFiveSeconds - although their collaborator Kanye West did not make the desert trip, as his family still recovers from wife Kim Kardashian's robbery ordeal in Paris.

Front and centre for the second night running was Alessandra Ambrosio, who still looked fresh despite rocking out the entire night before to the Rolling Stones and newest Nobel laureate, Bob Dylan.

Still going: Some 70,000 fans - of all ages - crammed in once again for Week 2 Day 2

The 35-year-old looked desert chic in a pair of cowboy boots and matching short jacket.

She flashed her long legs in a pair of denim Daisy Dukes, as well as her toned tum in a sexy white crop top.

And of course to finish the look she had that staple Empire Polo Club festival accessory: a white bandana scarf.

Hello! He was followed by Beatles legend Paul McCartney

Support: Rusty Anderson once again joined the 74-year-old on stage, and he was later accompanied by Rihanna

Catalogie: The Brit belted out hits spanning decades from his time with the Fab Four, his subsequent band Wings, and solo material

Worth it: Those right at the front of the stage had no qualms about paying $1,599 per ticket

The mother of two has been documenting her envy-inducing stay in the City Of Festivals on Snapchat and Instagram, hashtagging her pics and vids #foreveronvacation #rockandroll #festivAle

And cameras snapped her partying pre-festival with her businessman husband Jamie Mazur and friends at the Palm Desert Resort Spa in Palm Desert.

The beautiful Brazilian wore a long multi-coloured sundress and nearly tripped over when she caught her foot on the hem.

The stunner can now look forward to an epic finish to the inaugural and extraordinary festival, as Roger Waters and The Who are set to close out on Sunday night.

Other celebs spotted in the desert over the past two weeks included Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Christian Bale, longtime partners Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Goldie's daughter Kate Hudson, plus husband and wife Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones.

Others included Rob Lowe, Busy Phillips, Kyle Richards, Paris Hilton and, of course, Paul's own daughter designer Stella McCartney.

Moves like Jagger: The night before Bob Dylan opened things once again, followed by an electric set from The Rolling Stones
