He's taken the US by storm since landing a coveted hosting gig on The Late Late Show.

And James Corden looked every inch the California dude as he enjoyed some quality time with his wife Julia Carey in Beverly Hills on Sunday. 

Sporting low-key sports gear, the TV presenter, 38, looked happy and relaxed as the couple splashed the cash with a spot of retail therapy.

Dressing down in a baggy grey hoodie and navy blue shorts, the British comedian looked relaxed and low-key as he hit the shops.

Mirroring each other's look, the couple both sported dark sunglasses, and his and hers versions of brightly coloured Nike trainers.

While Julia opted for a rainbow hued pair with neon yellow laces, James went for a slightly more demure pair of sky blue sneakers with lime green accents.

Holding his phone as he walked, James chatted away to his wife as they enjoyed some lazy Sunday time together.

In her navy Nike zip-up jacket, royal blue running top and black and pink leggings, Julia looked fresh from a workout. 

The couple's children, five-year-old Max and Carey, one, didn't join them on the outing.

The former Gavin and Stacey star is now one of the most recognisable faces in America thanks to his prime-time talk show which he took over last year.

The Late Late Show has won two Emmys since James took over - one for Outstanding Interactive Programme and a Variety Special Emmy for the show's Carpool Karaoke segment.

James Corden has had big name stars like Michelle Obama and Mariah Carey on Carpool Karaoke, so it was only a matter of time before Lady Gaga made an appearance on the popular TV segment.

There was no mistaking the Poker Face singer when she wore a glittery sequined pussy bow blouse by Saint Laurent. She teamed it with a pair of leather leggings and some silver ankle boots, topping it all off with a pink fedora.

James recently filmed a new Carpool skit with Lady Gaga, but still has his heart set on securing one of the fiercest performers in the world, Beyonce.

'It would break the internet,' Corden revealed to British GQ. 'She's on tour right now. We're working on it'. 

He also confessed that rapper Kanye West had been booked to do the show two times but had to pull out due to other work commitments. 

Yet the funnyman remains optimistic, stating: 'He'll do it eventually. He wants to do it.'
