SPOILER ALERT! Amber Rose fights back tears as she is eliminated from Dancing With The Stars

Amber Rose fought back her emotions as she was finally eliminated from Dancing With The Stars.

The sexy star who had repeatedly been in jeopardy of being sent home had already seen her frustration boil over during rehearsals, leaving her storming home in tears.

On Monday night her dream of getting the ballroom trophy came to an end, with Amber looking downcast as she admitted: 'Oh I'm sad.'

Gone: Amber Rose fought back her emotions as she was finally eliminated from Dancing With The Stars

On a night when Jana Kramer had a shower scene in their dance that was hailed as one of the sexiest ever on the show, the talk show host who has usually brought the sexiest moments of the season saw her run come to an end.

Calling it 'such an amazing experience,' Amber insisted: 'People don't know this about me, but I'm really shy in a lot of ways and I think that showed on the ballroom floor.

'I tried my best and thank you so much for having me here.'

Earlier, she had insisted after her dance that she was 'having the time of my life' and said:

On Monday night her dream of getting the ballroom trophy came to an end, with Amber looking downcast as she admitted: 'Oh I'm sad.'

Really shy: Amber said that she was shy but she tried her best

Hugging it out: Amber and Maks put on a brave face as they embraced

Awaiting their fate: Maks and Amber nervously awaited to see if they would make the next week

'I didn't realize how invested I would be, and how much, like, I'm in love with Maks as like a brother, a partner, and y'know I really really wanna be here and I'm doing my best.'

Her pro partner Maks Chmerkovskiy - who smiled that he was 'ready for my diaper duty' as he expects his first baby with fellow pro Peta Murgatroyd - insisted of Amber: 'I'm very proud of her and think she did great.'

But their frustrations had clearly got to them earlier in rehearsals, with their bickering so bad she stormed out in tears, telling him: 'I love you, but I'm leaving. I'm done - I'm done!'

Bidding farewell: Amber hugged the other contestants after her elimination

A final twirl: Amber and Maks took a last spin on the dance floor

Showing the steps: Amber and Maks enjoyed their final dance together

'If you're done then we're not going to be ready, period, end of story,' Maks had warned her, seemingly astonished that she actually walked away for the day.

When they made up the next day, Maks assured her: 'I believe in you, I don't think you've reached your potential and that's why I'm being hard on you.

'The fact of the matter is I'll be damned if you don't come out looking like I think you can. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings.'

Getting frustrated: Maks was getting frustrated with Amber during rehearsal

Getting emotional: Amber got emotional and left practice before getting the routine down

Made up: Maks and Amber soon made up though

Amber had admitted that the previous week - which also ended with her in tears - had been 'really, really hard' on her, adding: 'I was just overwhelmed, and when I feel that Maks isn't proud in me, it hurts my feelings.'

Maks had insisted: 'I like Amber so much, and I want her to be so good. We know 100 percent that Amber has not reached her potential.

'The only thing that stands in Amber's way is Amber, and I'm frustrated,' he added.

Good effort: Amber gave it her best shot and was eliminated in week six of the show

Like this: Julianne Hough demonstrated some dance techniques

While her elimination was based on the previous week, her cha cha this week on Latin Night again got the lowest score, just 28 out of 40, with Julianne telling her she needed to be more aggressive, so much so she joked that she should slap Maks in the face.

'You have so much sass and so much in you - just smack it! Smack it and give it,' she told her.

While Amber went home, the sexiness was left for One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer who got a perfect score of 40 for an Argentine tango that pro partner Gleb Savchenko predicted would be 'the hottest dance on Dancing With The Stars ever done.'

Shower time: Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko performed a sexy Argentine tango

Top score: The duo earned a perfect 40 score for their dance

In a tiny lace dress, Jana - who insisted being so sexy was 'out of my comfort zone' - started on a bed, straddled her legs around Gleb's shoulders and then ended with them both getting soaking wet as they writhed under a shower onstage.

'You have trouble being sexy, huh?' host Tom Bergeron teased her as he handed her a towel.

'I think you just set the record for the hottest Argentine tango, for sure,' Julianne Hough told them, adding: 'Now that is chemistry! Holy crap!'

No problem: Jana was able to unleash her sexy side

Nailed it: Bruno Tonioli gave Jana and Gleb their final perfect 10

'Pulsating with lust - driven by insatiable desire,' Bruno Tonioli gushed, adding excitedly before pretending to collapse: 'As down and dirty as you can possibly go and I loved every minute of it! Sensational.'

Carrie Ann Inaba also said their 'chemistry is so incredibly palpable,' and told Jana: 'I saw you dancing as if you are going to take that mirrorball trophy - and if you keep dancing like that, you're gonna do just that.'

During their comments, Gleb had thrown his wet shirt at Bruno, leading guest judge Pitbull to tease Jana: 'If you want, you can go ahead and toss that dress over.'

Loved it: Bruno had high praise for Jana and Gleb

'If you need the cold shower it's sill available,' Tom joked back at the singer.

Indycar champ James Hinchcliffe got two perfect 10s and perhaps the highest praise possible, with Julianne telling him: 'I hands down think that you are the best male dancer we've ever had on this show. Absolutely. One hundred percent.'

'It was sexy, it was powerful, it was lust,' Pitbull said of his rumba, while Carrie Ann gushed: 'All night I feel like I've been eating chips and salsa, and you just brought the main entree. That was incredible! My goodness James!'

Guest judge: Pitbull was a guest judge and also performed

Despite her astonishing praise, Julianne only gave a 9, saying she was 'so mad' that he did not make it perfect and insisting: 'I still think there should have been more chemistry between you two - you guys are so beautiful together.'

'I felt it - I think you're going to get a Nobel Prize for chemistry,' Bruno quickly quipped of James and his pro partner Sharna Burgess as the racing driver's girlfriend Becky Dalton watched on.

James, 29, seemed amazed at the feedback having joked with Sharna in rehearsals that the sexy she said he needed for the routine was 'not an adjective associated with me a lot.'

Rumba routine: James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess impressed with their rumba

Glasses off: Pitbull took off his sunglasses as he praised James and Sharna

Best dancer: Julianne told James that he was the best male dancer ever on the show

'It is definitely not going to be easy to let the sexy side come out, if that even exists,' he smiled during an on-camera chat.

Shamed Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte was first to be told he was safe - despite coming bottom last week - and made sure he was seen, stripping off to a skimpy pair of yellow shorts and covered in neon makeup along with a deep tan.

'I feel over-dressed,' Tom joked, adding when Cheryl said she would 'cover him up a little bit' that 'you don't want to see how excited he is about the comments.'

First safe: Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke were the first to learn they were safe

Up first: The swimmer also was the first to perform on Latin Night

'Undress to impress - always works,' Bruno said, adding of his neon look that it was 'definitely a vibrant salsa - almost radioctive,' while Julianne complained that she expected a 'Speedo' rather than his tight shorts.

As Ryan got two 8s and two 7s, Pitbull had let on that he was giving them an 8 during the initial commentary part after the dance, clearly unaware that the scores came later.

'I've gotta believe this is one of the only times Pitbull has had trouble scoring,' Tom joked later, having also quipped: 'It's not the first time on the show we've had premature scoring.'

The hosts: Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron hosted Latin Night

During rehearsals, the swimmer had said: 'Do I think I'm sexy? I think I have a good smile.'

The show's youngest competitor, 16-year-old Olympic gold medallist Laurie Hernandez, got advice from fellow gymnasts Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin who have both also been on the show, with Shawn telling her: 'This is time to have fun, learn a new thing and really prove to yourself that you can be more than jut a gymnast.'

She also had an upper-hand for Latin Night, saying during rehearsals: 'I'm a second generation Puerto Rican so I'm hoping my heritage can really come through this week.'

Teen talent: Laurie Hernandez, 16, performed with pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy

High scores: The judges gave Laurie and Val three 9's and a 10

Bruno gave her a 10 after calling her a 'little cheeky salsa devil,' gushing: 'The power, the energy, the precious, unleashed with deadly accuracy. You killed it!'

The other judges all gave 9s, with Carrie Ann calling her 'the most powerful performer - you're like a B-12 shot.'

Terra Jolé was coming off easily her best week - getting all 9s and being told she was 'born to dance' - but struggled for the first time, with Julianne telling her of her Paso Doble: 'I do feel like this might not have been your best dance.'

Tough dance: Terra Jole struggled with her Paso Doble

Big performance: Pitbull rapped and was also a guest judge on the show

Bruno praised the first little person to appear on DWTS for being 'a fierce little tiger' - but then admitted that 'at times it was a bit fuzzy.'

Carrie Ann had said the trouble was the anger needed for the dance was too 'one dimensional,' with Terra admitting during rehearsals she found it hard to be out of character.

'It's just not natural for me,' she said of the 'fiery anger' her pro Sasha Farber, 33, said she needed, with him saying he needed to 'p**s her off' during rehearsals.

Too nice: Sasha Farber tried to get Terra to 'be mean' for the dance

'He keeps saying, 'Be angry, be mean - be mean!' I don't now how to be mean.'

However, she was thrilled when Pitbull gave her an 8 - saying he 'felt the intensity, felt the fire, felt that animal in you' - and came good on a promise she made if she got a high score from the star judge, and singing some lines from his hit I Know You Want Me.

Pro Derek Hough, meanwhile, had one of the most awkward moments as he gushed about 64-year-old former Taxi star Marilu Henner's 'beautiful legs' during pre-show interviews, saying: 'When they get in the right place, I'm like, ''Dang, girl!''

Smooth moves: Marilu Henner showed off her legs while dancing with Derek Hough

Pretty in pink: Derek and Marilu obtained a respectable 34 score

'I shouldn't be looking at her - she's like my mom's age!'

After he pause, he grimaced and admitted: 'That's weird, so weird.'

'You're legs were very beautiful - that was a weird comment about your mom,' his sister Julianne admitted after their cha cha, with them getting a respectable 34.

So weird: Derek complimented Marilu on her legs and then compared her to his mother

Strong spirit: Maureen McCormick has found a new confidence thanks to the show

'You managed to be graceful yet sexy,' Bruno told her. 'Way to go my darling.'

Former Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick, 60, talked about how she was 'so proud' of what the show has done for her, insisting: 'I came into this competition terrified to dance in public, and now I have this new found confidence.'

'You're positivity and your enthusiasm is so contagious,' Carrie Ann told her as she got 31. 'It's your spirit that brought that dance to life. You're playing you're own game, you're running your own race, and I think that leads to success.'

Nice lifts: Calvin Johnson Jr pulled off some amazing lifts and moves with Lindsay Arnold

Praise: The duo won plaudits from the judges for their athletic tango

Killed it: The former NFL star also crushed the mirrorball trophy pinata

Retired NFL star Calvin Johnson Jr was praised for his athletic tango, with Carrie Ann insisting: 'Twenty-three seasons, never seen lifts like that ever. Those were the most astounding beautifully executed lifts ever. You owned that dance floor. There was this magnetic intensity that was so sexy.'

'It's too bad you're not playing football no more because you could have used some of those moves out on the field,' Pitbull had joked as the judges gave all 9s and a 10.

'I just wish that shower was still out there now 'cos I'm freakin' hot,' Calvin admitted after his dance following Jana, with him then destroying a mirrorball piñata that the contestants had tried hitting all night.

As well as being guest judge, Pitbull had opened the show, wearing a white tux jacket as LaunchMoney Lewis and Flo Rida joined him for their hit Greenlight, surrounded by female dancers in black and white check dresses.

On the stage: Pitbull performed with Witney Carson dancing
