So perhaps it should be no surprise Goldie Hawn was cackling with delight as she enjoyed a romantic stroll with her long-term lover Kurt Russell in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

And her other half could not help but join in the fun as he hooted with laughter as they made their way to a intimate lunch on a sun-kissed afternoon.

Goldie, 70, looked great for her age as she showcased her knockout figure in a turquoise top, matching leggings and trendy trainers.

The Bird On A Wire favourite also seems to have been drinking at the Fountain Of Youth, if her fresh complexion is any guide.

Relative youngster Kurt, 65, meanwhile looked sprightly as he sauntered along in a laidback ensemble of T-shirt jeans and casual shoes.

Seems Like Old Times star Goldie, who is worth an enviable $60 million, and her fellow golden oldie partner have enjoyed success both on and off-screen together.

The Hollywood golden couple started dating after filming Swing Shift together back in 1984, when Big Trouble In Little China star Kurt was in the middle of divorcing his wife, and have been together ever since.

Explaining the secret to their success, Goldie previously said: 'A lasting relationship isn’t about marriage. It’s about compatibility and communication. And you both need to want it to work .' 

Perhaps their most popular creative collaboration is 1987's comedy caper Overboard, a popular favourite among people of that generation.

The pair decided against getting formally married, though they do have a son Wyatt, who is now 30-years-old, together. 

The Oscar-winning actress admitted: 'I would have been long divorced if I got married.'
