Trump says he will 'totally accept' election results if he wins

Donald Trump doubled down on his skepticism about the election results at a rally in Delaware, Ohio just hours after saying at the Las Vegas debate that he would not promise to accept the outcome. In typical bullish fashion he said: 'I would like to promise and pledge to all my voters and supporters, and to all the people of the United States, that I will totally accept the results of this great and historic presidential election - if I win.' Applause rang out as Trump fans let out a sigh of relief at the sound of their hero sticking to his guns. On Thursday he claimed fraud could run rampant and insisted he would decide later whether to put up a fight if the election didn't go his way . 'Of course I would accept a clear election result,' Trump said, 'but I would also reserve my right to contest or file a legal challenge in the case of a questionable result.' Trump cited statistics from the Pew Research Center showing 24 million voter registrations in the United States that are questionable, including those of deceased Americans whose names haven't been removed from the voter rolls. '1.8 million people are dead but they're registered to vote,' Trump told about 1,200 Ohioans, 'some of whom vote even though they're dead.' At Wednesday night's debate, Hillary Clinton referred to Trump's suspicion of voter fraud 'horrifying . Last election to be challenged was 2000 when Al Gore only conceded finally to George W Bush after losing Supreme Court battle.

PIERS MORGAN: Please Donald, for the sake of America, for the sake of yourself, say you

Donald Trump crossed a red line in last night's final TV debate. In fact, he crossed a red line that he himself had very deliberately and firmly drawn up earlier in the evening. The Republican candidate was emphatic about the vital importance of upholding and protecting the United States Constitution. Yet later in the debate, Trump was asked by moderator Chris Wallace if he would accept the result of this election - and I agree with Hillary who described his answer as 'horrifying'.

Clinton and Trump will each speak at a dinner in New York City tonight. The Democratic White House contender will begin a five-day stretch of campaign travel on Friday, beginning with a rally in Cleveland.

Donald Trump declared himself the debate winner, dashing off a 3 a.m. tweet as his campaign plane touched down in the swing state of Ohio after last night's Las Vegas throwdown.

The results of Wednesday's presidential debate began to trickle in in the early hours of Thursday morning, with neither candidate the clear winner thanks to contrasting polls.

When he was freed he believed then Secretary of State Clinton had helped and wanted him out. But he now believes the opposite - and his co-author tells DailyMail.com he believes roadblocks put up by the CIA are part of an effort to shield her from blame in an episode with echoes of Benghazi, a year later. ‘She is a sassy angel come to bless us all!’ Twitter users go gaga for Hillary Clinton’s

NEW The Democratic nominee for President of the United States sported a custom-made Ralph Lauren pantsuit to Wednesday's debate in Las Vegas. The look proved an instant hit with social media users, with some saying she was 'glowing' and appeared 'angelic'. It rounded off a patriotic trio of pantsuits Hillary wore to the three debates, with the first and second being red and blue respectively. The traumatising photos that seem X-rated at first glance - but are entirely innocent

Some unlucky people have had their awfully awkward moments eternalised through the power of photography - meaning we can point and laugh forever. They show, from top left, a confusingly phallic looking cut of meat at the butcher's, a smiling gaggle of girls dodging a toddler's arm, a rocky outcrop of cliffs, a girl posing against a bedhead with unfortunate patterns, an awkwardly positioned set of sofas and the explicit looking glove of a girl in a couple's selfie.

Battle for Mosul going 'faster than planned' as ISIS retaliate with suicide car attacks,

Iraqi special forces charged into battle with a pre-dawn advance on a nearby town held by ISIS today, a key part of a multi-pronged assault on eastern approaches to the besieged city. The addition of the elite troops (top left), also known as counterterrorism forces, marked a significant intensification of the fight for Iraq's second-largest city. As they advanced, attack helicopters fired on the militants and heavy gunfire echoed across the plains. It comes as prime minister Haider al-Abadi insisted government and Kurdish forces (main) were progressing quicker than expected in their fight to reclaim the ISIS stronghold.

The two men were caught by Kurdish Peshmerga troops fleeing the Iraqi city after ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ordered women to leave Mosul as the liberation battle entered a fourth day.

The gunman, dubbed the 'Sniper of Mosul', is said to be hunting down ISIS fanatics while they are on patrol in the streets of the city, in northern Iraq.

Chilling new footage shows first images of Kim Kardashian jewel thieves making their way to her Paris apartment before fleeing on bicycles with their haul

French media has published CCTV images of the alleged gang leaving and arriving at the reality TV star's VIP apartment in Paris on October 3. Shot on a private camera just around the corner from the so-called 'Hotel de Pourtales' apartment block they are in black and white. They are also so grainy that it is impossible to make out a single face, with detectives admitting they are still baffled as to who they are. The camera footage starts at 2.19am, and shows three men wearing reflective jackets cycling towards the block, and shortly afterwards two others walk past on foot. A full 49 minutes then goes by, before members of the gang are seen leaving - a time period that makes a mockery of previous claims that they only spent a few minutes in the building. All have their faces hidden by a combination of hoods and balaclavas, and are thought to be pretending to be plain-clothes policemen.
