Mourning the end of your campaign already? Solemn looking Melania and Ivanka dress for the final debate in all black... in stark contrast to Hillary's white suit worn in tribute to the suffragettes

  • Melania and Ivanka Trump wore stiff expressions as they took their seats at the University of Las Vegas
  • Both dressed entirely in black, an ominous choice for their candidate's final square-off against Clinton
  • By contrast, Hillary Clinton paraded a gleaming white pant suit for the debate on Wednesday night
  • It is her second nod to the suffragettes who dressed in white at political demonstrations and events

They have glamorously turned out to support him at each of his square-offs against Hillary Clinton.

But the ever stylish Trump women opted for ominous wardrobe choices as they cheered him on at the third presidential debate on Wednesday, dressing entirely in black to watch The Donald fight for the White House one last time.

Both the candidate's daughter Ivanka, 34, and his wife Melania, 46, wore stiff expressions as they took their seats at the University of Las Vegas in Nevada, by-passing the traditional hand-shake with the Clinton family as per the Democratic candidate's request.

Melania was businesslike in a $1790 belted Ralph Lauren jumpsuit while Ivanka wore an asymmetric top and matching trousers.

By contrast, Clinton was optimistic in white. She wore a shining pant suite for the occasion, her second sartorial nod to feminism after dedicating an outfit of the same color to the suffragettes at the Democratic National Convention.

Black out: Melania and Ivanka Trump opted for all-black outfits as they supported Donald Trump at the third presidential debate in Las Vegas on Wednesday. They were joined by his other daughter Tiffany, who dressed in blue, (second from left), his daughter-in-law Lara Yunaska (far left, in white), and son Eric (back left)

Team Trump: The Republican candidate lowered his gaze to leave the stage after being joined by his family at the end of the debate

Well done Donald! The stoic pair were full of smiles as they chatted with the Republican candidate after the debate

Debrief: With his family gathered around him, Trump looked puffed up with triumph after his showdown against Clinton

No ladies first? Trump, the self-proclaimed gentleman, led his family off the stage and out of the University of Las Vegas

Towing the line: Donald Jr's wife Vanessa also dressed in black for the occasion, following her husband's stepmother and sister in their wardrobe choices

Out of here: The family made a swift exit from the debate. Trump's sons, Eric and Donald Jr were also present

Choice words? Melania was the subject of one of the night's topics. Trump boasted that he hadn't apologized to her for the claims of women accusing him of being sexually aggressive towards them. She earlier said she had forgiven him

The group of women famously dressed in white while campaigning for the right to vote.

It also completed the three colors of the American flag - she dressed in red for the first debate and in navy blue at the second.

Wednesday's debate is the candidates' final opportunity to trade blows before the polls open on November 8.

Clinton was declared the winner of the first two debates. The second, which took place earlier this month in Washington University in St Louis, Missouri, was prefaced with the emergence of tapes in which the Republican candidate boasted of his aggressive sexual strategies and treatment of women.

Tense: Melania and Ivanka wore stern expressions as they were shown to their seats on Wednesday night before the debate

All eyes on her: Ivanka Trump joined her step-mother in an all-black ensemble on Wednesday, maintaining a stiff expression as she took her seat

No love lost: Melania greeted her husband's running mate Mike Pence warmly, planting a kiss on his cheek as they said hello

Front row: Melania stifled a smile as she waited for her husband to take to the stage. Pence sat next to her throughout

White knight? By contrast, Hillary Clinton beamed as she entered the stage in a white pantsuit and subdued black heels

Sending a message: The Democratic candidate completed the colors of the American flag with her choice, dressing in blue and red at the previous two debates

Among the worst received comments released on the tapes was one in which Trump boasted of 'grabbing women by the p****'.

His wife dressed suggestively for the second debate in an aptly-named, hot pink pussy bow blouse, having previously condemned his use of the word.

Ivanka at the time had not addressed her father's comments, instead putting the topic out of bounds when conducting interviews.

She has since agreed they were 'offensive', dismissing the notion that she is a mastermind of his presidential campaign.

Happier times: Melania perked up at sight of some of her husband's supporters, warmly greeting them as she took her seat

Golden girl: Ivanka has attended all three of the debates, sitting in the front row alongside her famous siblings and stepmother

Breaking the mould: Tiffany Trump broke the trend, sporting a blue satin dress for the event. She was given a front row seat on Wednesday unlike other debates where she has been seated away from her half-siblings

Family affair: Ivanka and her sister watched intently as their father took to the podium at the packed university hall

Since then, his campaign has relentlessly fought off accusations from nine different women who claim he sexually assaulted them.

Trump and his advisers have batted away each of the allegations separately, insisting the claims are untrue and part of a conspiracy theory hatched by a 'biased' media to have his opponent elected.

While his campaign has been plagued by their accusations, he did not suffer as severely in the polls as predicted as a result of them.

After the second presidential debate, Rasmussen Reports gave the businessman a two point lead over his opponent.

Clinton, who herself has been dogged by the disappearance of thousands of emails from her personal account, was given the lead in the majority of other polls.

Camp Clinton: The Democratic nominee was full of smiles and time for her supporters who rushed for photographs with her

Well done mom: Chelsea Clinton was among the first to congratulate her mother after her performance

The other side: Chelsea Clinton was colorful by comparison, smiling as she entered the debate on her father's arm while dressed in a patterned dress

Something to share? The Clintons were visibly more upbeat than their opponents, sharing jokes as they settled down for the final debate
