Joining forces! Hailey Baldwin is rocker chic in leather trousers as she teams up with Joan Smalls at fashion event in New York

Hailey Baldwin and Joan Smalls joined forces on Tuesday to give a double dose of bold style to the Karl Lagerfeld x Lord & Taylor launch event in New York City.

The ladies sizzled as they worked their magic in all-black outfits while making their grand, joint entrance to the event. 

Hailey, 19, was rocker chic in black leather pants, an XOXO, Karl top, and strappy suede heels.

The model, who is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, had her blonde hair braided back in a look which put her transfixing features on full show. 

Smoky eye shadow, mascara, and a slick of dramatic red lipstick completed Hailey's makeup.

Joan, 28, meanwhile, rocked an edgy hairdo as she twisted a portion of her hair into several top knots while wearing the rest down in long, loose waves.

The Victoria's Secret model looked fantastic in a black blouse with sheer leaves, a matching pair of trousers, and the same pair of heels Hailey wore.

Not a hair out of place: Smoky eye shadow, mascara, and a slick of bold red lipstick completed the star's makeup

And adding a sexy touch, Joan donned a lacy top beneath the blouse. 

She, too, had on smoky eye shadow, while blush defined her stunning facial features. 

While the ladies were busy doing their part at the bash, they found time to sneak in a quick selfie as well.

Hailey happily served as photographer for the occasion as she and Joan grinned widely for her camera. 

The model also took to Instagram to share a selfie taken behind-the-scenes, one which she captioned, 'get to be with my lovey @joansmalls tonight for @lordandtaylor @karllagerfeld #lordandtaylor #karllagerfeldparis.' 

Hailey seemed to be in a bit of a reflective mood as she also cryptically tweeted that same day, 'everyone I do right does me wrong.'

It was just another day in the life of Hailey and Joan, who both were also busy working during Milan Fashion Week in late September. 

Hailey, meanwhile, is currently on the cover of the November issue of Harper's Bazaar Australia.

In her interview the star said: 'The older supermodels sometimes don’t agree with the fact there is a new generation of models. We’re not saying we’re supermodels. I’d rather people look at us as businesspeople, and, yes, modeling is our business right now, but we’re not trying to take anybody’s spot, and we’re not trying to discredit the past.'

Joan is also currently on the November cover of the Harper's Bazaar Germany.
