Maria Sharapova joins Tiger Woods at his charity's anniversary celebration... as he reveals he does not regret cheating on his wife 

They've both been plagued by cheating scandals. 

But both Tiger Woods and Maria Sharapova bounced back this week.

The golf and tennis former number ones linked up at the Tiger Woods Foundation's 20th Anniversary Celebration at the New York Public Library on Thursday night.

The charity has been providing education and scholarships for children for two decades this year.

Maria, 29, opted for a demure look in a long black skirt, white blouse and hound tooth jacket.

The 40-year-old Tiger looked sharp in a black suit and tie.

Look smart in a houndstooth blazer like Maria

We're used to seeing Maria Sharapova in her tennis whites but she cleaned up quite nicely for at charity event at the New York Public Library in Manhattan.

The Russian beauty donned an ensemble that was pulled from Public School's Resort 2017 collection that consisted off a button down blouse, knee length skirt and a houndstooth blazer. Her feet were encased in a pair of Tabitha Simmons sandals.

Nope: Rose later asked if the father-of two had told his children if he regretted cheating on their mother, which became a very public scandal. 'No. No. I don’t. I haven’t said that,' he replied.

During his interview with Rose, Woods claimed he intends beating Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 Majors.

The Californian currently holds a not-to-shabby 14 titles - the second most of any player.

However a back problem sidelined him for 14 months, and saw him drop out of the top 500 rankings.

He had been expected to make his comeback at the Safeway Open earlier this month but pulled out saying his game was not sharp enough; he now plans to return in December.
