NFPA appoints Julie Lynch vice president of human resources

Julie LynchDecember 17, 2014 – The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) today announced the appointment of Julie Lynch as vice president of human resources (HR). Lynch will develop and align HR strategy, programs and policies to support NFPA’s overall strategy and evolving culture and goals. Lynch reports to NFPA President Jim Pauley. 

Julie brings a wealth of human resources management experience and knowledge to the NFPA team,” said Pauley. “With her proven experience driving effective employee engagement as well as training and development, she will play a key role in developing our talented team to advance NFPA’s mission.” 

In her role, Lynch is responsible for HR strategy development and implementation, talent management, employee engagement and organizational development.  

As a senior human resources executive with 20 years of experience, Lynch joins NFPA from International Data Group (IDG) and IDG Research Workforce Efficacy Solutions where she held numerous HR leadership positions. Throughout her career, she has created and delivered various HR related products, services, policies and best practices with an emphasis on productivity and employee engagement. Lynch lives in West Boylston, Massachusetts.
