A new TV advertisement for the high-end spirit sees him pouring a whisky and Coke in front of the London skyline before raising a glass with his pals.

Beckham sat down with British GQ to mark the commercial's release and described his ideal place to drink.

'I'd be at a pub that serves an amazing Sunday lunch, by a big log fire, and with a load of old people.

'I love going to pubs in the countryside, or to my local pub where everyone knows me and I don't get bothered.'

He also told the glossy men's magazine that in order to stave off hangovers he takes an Alka Seltzer tablet before bed and has a bacon sandwich the following morning: 'My granddad told me to do that.'
