The Glossary of Terms (GOT) is an NFPA staff managed project. Definitions are extracted from each code and standard and compiled into a PDF. Using comparison functions, we can list each document that uses specific terms and determine which documents use the same definitions of that term. The GOT PDF is updated twice a year.
The GOT project was originally managed by the NFPA Technical Advisory Committee which reported to the NFPA Standards Council. The Committee was disbanded by the NFPA Standards Council in August 2015.
