July 16, 2014 – The latest edition of the NFPA Journal®, the official magazine for the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), features Jim Shannon’s remarkable 12-year presidency of NFPA. The issue looks at Shannon’s legacy as the “digital president” where he recognized the potential of the Internet to build the organization and expand its influence around the world. The edition includes an introduction to Jim Pauley who became NFPA’s new president on July 1.
