Pierce Brosnan appears to be having a blast on the set of his latest movie.

The 63-year-old actor got to work filming upcoming drama titled Only Living Boy in New York on Wednesday alongside co-star Callum Turner.

Pierce, pictured in New York, wore a smart wintry look consisting of a long coat, trousers and shoes, finished off with a woolen scarf.

British star Callum, 26, sported a casual hoodie with beige jacket layered on top as well as a pair of tan trimmed spectacles.

The Marc Webb directed movie follows a recent college graduate (Turner) whose life changes drastically when he begins a relationship with his father's mistress (Kate Beckinsale).

Meanwhile, it's been announced that Pierce will be joining forces with GoldenEye director Martin Campbell for his new project, an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's novel Across the River and Into the Trees.

The Die Another Day actor is working with Campbell to bring the American author's best-selling 1950 book to the big screen.

The story tells the tale of Colonel Richard Cantwell who serves in Italy after World War II and is dying of heart disease. Filming is due to start in October.

Pierce has been married to journalist wife Keely for 15 years and they have two teenage sons together, Dylan, 19, and Paris, 15.

The actor also has a son and two adopted children with his late wife, Cassandra Harris.

Pierce recently revealed Keely still had the power to make him go weak at the knees, and told The Independent in March: 'I love her vitality, her passion.

'She has this strength that I wouldn't be able to live without. When Keely looks at me, I go weak.'
