Ben Affleck broke out his Boston accent to urge New Hampshirites to vote this week, in a hilarious PSA for Funny or Die and NextGen Climate.

In the two-minute video, the Massachusetts-native actor - wearing a flannel shirt and down vest - claims that New Hampshire's practically his home state.

'I'm from Boston, and Boston is in New England, which means that New Hampshire is just like my kid brother. You know what I mean? I love Hampshire.

'Back in the day, me and Tommy and Johnny and Bobby and Ricky and Tommy and Marcus and Tommy and Ricky and Bobby used to drive across the state lines to buy tax-free booze at the packies. I'm basically from New Hampshire. Have you ever been to New Hampshire? It's f****** beautiful,' Affleck says, before listing off a list of famous New Hampshire landmarks.

Affleck then goes on to stress the importance of the upcoming presidential election, and New Hampshire's 'wicked f****** important' role as a key swing state.

'I've been loving on New Hampshire since I was just little baby Pats fan. I took my first steps in New Hampshire, figuratively.

'So if you give a s*** about women's rights, you care about keeping the environment safe for future generations, you care about people getting to p*** in the f****** bathroom of their choice, then guess who's got your back in this election? That's right, my basically-home-state New Hampshire,' Affleck says.

'Honestly, normally I would say that the great people of New Hampshire are too good for this f****** election. New Hampsharians are so nice they don't even yell at you in the car. At least not north of Manchester.

The Boston Celtics supporter even slipped in a joke about how the presidential election 'is a bigger disaster than the New York Knicks'

He turned serious when the word 'curse' showed up in the script. Making a veiled reference to the Boston Red Sox's 'Curse of the Bambino'

'But seeing at how this election is a bigger disaster than the New York Knicks (ha!) the people from New Hampshire are gonna have to register to vote, otherwise this whole damn nation is gonna be cursed,' Affleck says.

That's when the green screen behind him cuts and Affleck drops the accent, going on a tangent about how he doesn't like to talk about 'curses'.

Affleck is of course referencing the 'Curse of the Bambino,' a superstition that the Boston Red Sox were cursed by trading Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees. For 86 years after the trade, the Red Sox - a previously very successful team - didn't win a single World Series.

'Woah I don't talk about curses,' Affleck says, as a picture of Ruth pops up in the background in a Yankees cap. 'Don't put the word curse in the teleprompter. Take that s*** out, it's not funny. This is supposed to be funny. There's jokes and then there's curses.'

'Register to vote New Hampshire, all of New England is counting on you,' Affleck says in the video

The Town star then ends the video by entreating all New Hampshire residents to register to vote so that they can do their civic duty in this upcoming November 8 election.

'Register to vote New Hampshire, all of New England is counting on you,' Affleck says.

The video is one of several that Funny or Die has recorded, urging residents of swing states like Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to register to vote.
