On the red carpet, Ciara, a newly appointed Revlon ambassador, always wows with shimmering smoky eye looks and head-turning braided, twisted or curled hairstyles.

When she's not working, however, her hair and make-up routine is refreshingly low-maintenance. With two-year-old son Future Zahir at home and one more, she announced yesterday, on the way, there's no time to waste.

'When it’s nap time, I get to it and put my face together,' she told People earlier this month. 'I put on mascara, a little concealer under my eyes and [tinted] lip balm. It takes, like, ten minutes and sometimes that’s all you have with a child.'

The singer expanded on her glam and go routine in a new video for Vogue.com, where she takes her look from day to night in a flash.

After dancing into her bathroom, her first order of business is an eyebrow cleanup.

'It's all about brushing, the shape of an eyebrow is everything,' she says as she gently runs a spoolie brush along her arches. She then uses a cream highlighter to brighten her under-eye area.

On the lips, she applies a small amount of Aquaphor from a tube she says she borrowed from her son for a hydration boost before layering on Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Seduction, a rosy neutral shade.

'The bottom lashes are key,' she says as she wiggles Revlon Super Length Mascara over them. 'Don't look down so fast after you apply mascara, because it will be on the bottom, underneath your eyes.'

To add dimension to her complexion, she finishes with a dusting of powder bronzer over the cheeks and along the hairline.

For her hair, she keeps it simple by twisting large sections with a flatiron to achieve loose waves. 'I like to get this hair thing done pretty fast, so I'm not as detailed  as my hairstylist [Cesar Ramirez] would be,' she says.

While the singer clearly knows her way around a make-up palette, she's been fortunate enough to work with some of the best beauty pros in the business.

Ciara opted for a playful look for the Kids' Choice Sports Awards in July complete with raver buns and a blue-red lipstick. 

The lip color elevated her casual outfit of jeans and a T-shirt without being too formal.

At this year's Met Gala, Ciara stayed true to the night's Manus X Machina theme with a silver hair color and a silver-flecked eye look.

Her make-up artist, Yolanda Frederick, said that she layered H&M Beauty High Impact Eye Colour in Let It Shine over a dark brown shade to achieve the look.

At the 2015 American Music Awards, Ciara rocked a sheer, black-beaded gown and black eyeshadow.

To offset the sultriness of the ensemble, the Like a Boy singer finished the look with a swipe of sophisticated mauve lipstick.

Ciara was the epitome of a glamour girl at an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The cat eye and red lip perfectly complemented her Old Hollywood-style waves.
