But that hasn't stopped James Corden, 38, remaining grounded, with the star seen taking a casual stroll in the rain in Santa Monica on Friday.

The funnyman cut a casual figure in a black hoodie and matching shorts as he braved the drizzly conditions.

Finishing his outfit with some black socks and grey Nike trainers, the British star crossed the road with his hand tucked in his pocket.

James wore a stern expression on his face, the weather possibly dampening his mood.

However, he was in much higher spirits for his latest Carpool Karaoke in which he shared a car with Lady Gaga.

He tried to recreate Gaga's infamous meat dress look as he covered himself in lunch provisions.

The singer, 30, looked repulsed at The Late Late Show host's look, which also featured her blonde wig with blue ends, from which he could be seen picking up a piece of meat for a snack.

The moment came after James had asked which look from over the years was the performer's favorite.

She began speaking about an Alexander McQueen dress from the 2010 VMAs, but after noting that she had worn it the same night as her meat dress, James appeared sporting his own version of it.

'Good thing with this one is you've always got a snack,' he joked, as he pulled a piece of meat from his ensemble, and ate it.

Gaga immediately covered her face and looked away, clearly disgusted by James' actions.

He then teased her: 'If you can't take it, how do you think they felt at the VMAs?' though she ignored the comment and advised: 'I really think you should take that off.'

He also modeled her famous red, lace Alexander McQueen dress from the 2009 VMAs, and her police tape look from the Telephone video.
