And Elsa Pataky, 40, has joked about looking youthful despite being seven years older than her husband Chris Hemsworth.

'I always tell him, "I'm always going to look younger than you, so watch out"', she told The Daily Telegraph this week.

'Age is just a number. It's all about how you feel and how young you feel,' the mother-of-three added.

Despite being a Hollywood star in her own right, Elsa revealed she chose to take a break from her career so Chris could enjoy his time in the limelight.

'I'm lucky in that I've been able to decide I just want to have a break of my work because Chris is working pretty hard and taking his moment,' she added.

Earlier this week, the happy couple shut down rumours of marriage troubles, first reported by Australian magazine Woman's Day.

According to the publication, the couple had been 'taking a little break from each other' and had 'issues' to sort through, and Elsa's recent holiday in Spain without Chris by her side raised alarm bells among their friends.

The tabloid also claimed Elsa, known for her roles in the Fast And Furious series, has received support by her brother Cristian Prieto.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 33-year-old Thor star showed off his witty sense of humour with a post addressing the reports.

'Looking for a new wife according to @womansdayaus and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?! (sic)' her captioned a photo of himself and his wife enjoying a cruise.

In less than 15 minutes, Chris' post had been 'liked' by over 51,000 people, including model Cheyenne Tozzi and Neighbours actress Olympia Valance.
